Greetings,

i write this down, because i have seen Things that brings me to laugh and cry, at the same time. Nobody needs to play perfect or have the epic Rotation/Equipment etc. for me but some Info how the System in Teso works, should everyone know.

It is only my personal Sight and Exp and i have to learn every Day something new, maybe some Things i dont explain right but i should hit the right Direction.

Only some Ideas:

1. Pls dont stay in the Red Circles, it eat my Mana and as a Healer i need a good Management to hold the Group alive. It could kill you and the Group because the Damage in Teso is damn high and not every Class can heal against this Spikes for too long. This is not WoW, dont stay too long in this Fields or you will die.

If you need to avoid a Red Circle, Movement is a fine Thing but if you run around like headless chickens, the healer cant reach anyone anymore. Maybe as a Templer with Rushed Ceremony but it cost much Mana and not every Healerclass have this.

Stay near the Healer, so you can protect him and get better Heals through passive Skills, maybe. Stay in a Group if you can, so the AOE-Heals can hit more Players.

If you run out of my Range i only follow you to the Point it doesnt leave the Tank alone, without Heals. If you are further away, you will die.

Only a Tip, if a Templer throw out a glowing Field, stay in this Field because it has a stronger Healbonus.

2. Pls attack the Mobs which attack the Healer, first. As a DD you have to kill the Trash and attack the Boss after that, except the Group says it otherwise. Some Adds doesnt need to be killed. I cant heal if i am dead and jumping/blocking around, doesnt help me through the healing.

The Tank CANT hold all the Mobs like in other Games, he is focused on the Boss. Maybe he can throw out some CCs but he needs his Resources to survive and hold Aggro from the Boss.

And if you attack the Mobs, pls go all on one Mob to kill them fast, use AOEs if you can. Time kills my Mana, so pls kill them fast.

3. Pls use Potions, it is important and a must have in this Game to Support the Healer. As a Healer i use many Manapotions too, if i need them.

4. Use Skills which can protect or heal you, every Class have some and a dead DD cant make damage. And no, this is not only the Work that a Healer has to do. I remember this is not WoW or another MMORPG. The Monsters hit hard here and the Healer cant chainbursting Heals, without going oom after a while.

5. Use the Synergies! Some Skills have the Possibility to offer Synergies which you can use. They are strong so use them, if you can. Example: The Templer has a Spell , that offers a Synergie who heals you and negates negative Effects, if you use them.

6. Teso hits hard and dieing is a something that can often happen. So dont be angry of this, dont yell at the Tank or Healer, there do a hard Job in this Game. Try to Support them and they Support you, Teamwork is important and Lone Rangers doesnt help anything.

These are only some Points that could help, maybe you can add some others to this Theme. This is not a Guide, only some Ideas and personal Impressions.Teso is a fantastic and hard hitting Game but if we work together we can all have a lot of Fun in there.

Players also doesn't interupt casters and healers enough. Everyone can interupt, including bow and staff wielder. Of course the tank would be the most efficient bashing the caster and healers, but it's still a job that can be performed by everyone, either while using a special ability, or by interupting using the left and right button of your mouse at the same time.

These are all great tips. But it shouldn't have to be said. I know that this may be a lot of people's first foray into the MMO world, but if you've played the tutorial you already know 95% of what @Murmeltier‌ wrote.

This is why i enjoy dps in this game. I actually hunt down adds that become a real threat to the healer and the group. Unfortunately, I chose a Templar as my class so my time as DPS will soon be over in the VR content. I'm thinking about rolling NB for DPS but I hear they are bugged so bad they are actually worse than Templar, who are just a poor class for anything outside of healing. can a DK be a good DPS? guess I'll have to give it a try.

    Yeah the basics

Dont stand in the red krap
kill damage dealer casters first then HEALERs
don't stand away from group heals are almost all AOE

Those three things are most important when I am healing. I can kite some of the tanky melee mobs so I don't get to worried about them. But ranged DPS destroying me is something else entirely.

Definately kill healers before casters, or they heal the casters.

Yes, thats right. The most of the Players should known this but i often see that this is not working, so i wrote this down. More for my Soul, so i could die in Peace after the next Wipe :D .

If you dont speak this out, the Heads could stuck in Memory to the Mechanics from MMORPGs like WoW or GW2. Btw, i see some nice Tips around here, maybe it helps others too. Not anyone is a *Pro*.

Its amazing howmany people seem to enjoy taking all the hits a mob throws at them. A number equally to those who complain fights are to hard.
In The Rift theres a worldboss frost atronach. Perfectly soloable, because well, its "just" a frost atronach, with all the attacks all basic frost atronachs do. One out of two wordbosses in veteran version of Rift thats soloable, because he has no alts.
All you have to do ... stay out of red, and hes a joke for worldboss even with immunity to CC.
Everytime i was there, guaranteed he killed someone if i wasnt soloing him, yes i keep fighting bosses untill they drop an item, so it takes quite a few runtroughs before they drop their blue or purple, and if they do drop kill em again anyway because its fun to fight bosses.
Anyway, worst battle with him ive seen, there was 9 people, NINE, and 8 people died on the only boss (out of two) thats soloable in the entire zone. Several people even more then once ...
I mean, how do these people even get to veteran content and not know the mechanics of a frost atronach? Or even the reason why some stuff is indicated where bad stuff is going to happen? Did they engage in one single battle to level up this far or just collected quest after quest reward and sneak through it all?
If you never fought a frost atronach, yea i could agree you dont know the mechanics. But all those people did the same quests as i have so i know you faced them before or you wouldnt even be here.
It boggles my mind ... boggles even more they have the audacity to create posts on forum that stuff is to hard and flame on zenimax.
