Now instead of dieing you will be charged gold for getting unstuck??

What the F***? Have I missed that in the Patch Notes? Now when you are stuck in the ground because of poor design you will be charged gold for being unstuck. It was bad enough to have to die before but really?

This is not new. Most times typing /stuck ports you to a wayshrine and you get charged gold for doing so.

o.O You get charged for using /stuck? Isn't durability damage bad enough? Thankfully I have not needed to use /stuck much. One or two times total in 3 weeks of playing.

You were getting charged gold anyway, it was just on your repair bill.

What? Is there a difference if you simply teleport with the spell to a shrine. It costs money (maybe more?). What I did before typing stuck is remove all armor before dying.

I am not broke but good question. Logging out and in didnt fix it.

Yes I am aware of that but you werent charged directly. Not as far that I know of anyway.

Sneaking around enemies while exploring. I couldnt see hole before i was in it and nothing works in there. No jump, no dodge, etc

I imagine they did it because people were using /stuck to fast travel to the nearest wayshrine rather than pay the fast travel fees to use it normally.

I never had that using the /stuck command. Of course dieing and loosing armor dura but a direct charge is news to me

Thanks, yeah that prompt wasn't in the original pic (at least not the one I saw).
That's pretty stupid, even if it's not something new. I guess if there was no punishment for using the command, people would just use it to go to a Wayshrine for free, though.

A fix the developers could use is to just teleport people who use the /stuck command a certain, small distance away to an area nearby that they will not get stuck in upon teleportation.

At any rate, it is lame getting charged for, like you said, a mistake the developers made.

While I have rarely used /stuck, I have never been presented with a charge outside of the known issue that it actually causes a death and causes armor damage even if you are not in combat. Post patch 1.1.2 is the first I have heard of this.

If you say this is not new, when was it imposed?

simple trick : remove armor before typing the stuck command. I never dit it if I was not really stuck though.

I had success with repairing my game during the beta when I got stuck and /stuck didn't work. It would take a long time but it should get you unstuck.

This is largely to combat gold farmer bots who seriously abused the /stuck mechanic to travel to and from locations quickly.

And now they all have to go back to teleporting and running through walls; life as a bot can be really hard sometimes...

Even if, and I believe you´re right, this is still not an excuse for it. The /stuck mechanic in ESO (die and revive at next wayshrine) is just the simplest solution they could have come up with instead of a proper unstuck mechanic that ports you just a few metres to where you´re not stuck. And now using it to fight bots its just a lame solution and wouldn´t harm any bot. Its just used as a Gold Sink and its a pain in the Butt.

This is funny. For all the reasons and explanations given on why is not a bad thing or how you can avoid, taking off your armor or not doing this or that, how about ESO removes the cost?

This is not a player fault but bad design. I have stepped on a stone and it has zapped me into a wall, /stuck equates to cost. Change this, it is not and should not be designed as a gold sink.

Back in beta wow's /stuck moved you a short distance away to a point known to be valid.

People found a way to abuse it to get places they shouldnt be.

    Then it killed you.

    Then they removed it.

I dont remember if they ever put it back in.

You could try teleporting to a friend instead of /stuck maybe?

Mobs only drop 4gold max and there is no a really true way to earn money in this game. It seems you really want us to buy gold via theses f*** goldspammer. Well i'm a bit lost.

If I'm going to have to pay to use /stuck, then fix the collision loading so that I do not constantly fall through bridges and walk through staircases and get stuck in the blimmin' architecture.

The bridge to the bank in Wayrest has claimed my life more times than any mob. Making me pay for it out of already limited funds is just adding insult to injury.

Yes I could and thats the first answer I got from the support but this is not just that I am stuck, it is in general *** to charge players for Design Flaws. And thats why I will keep my ticket up until this issue is solved not just for me but for everyone. I agree that this is not Top Priority but the way it is now is just pure rubbish.

It isn't as bad as it once was, it is getting better.

I miss being thrown into the sea from jumping around or taking the time to end up stuck in the sky looking at those gorgeous clouds.
