Is the VR mob buff intentional or not?

Dozens of threads on this. Not a peep from Zenimax.

A couple of subscriptions have their lives hanging in the balance.

    You mean the fact that they bumped cyrodiil v1 mobs to v5? Yea they announced that change about 3 weeks ago. If you dont mean cyrodiil, Im still in pve v1 territory and didnt notice any change.

    Personally I don't like them buffing the Cyrodiil mobs either.
    It was already hard as it is for PVPers who were under level 50.

    I just got to vr2 before the patch - tried to do my mish in vr2 land and an archer lays down a spray that does 1040 dmg then a second shot does 646 - the other npc removes the rest of my life as I furiously mash my heal button to no avail...that is insane. I could barely manage the dmg coming off of one. It would not be so bad if my bow did 1040 dmg in one shot...

    Yeah, it's ridiculous how much they've been buffed. Just as an experiment I took on a set of 3 VR5 mobs that I was able to defeat yesterday (as a VR7), a fight with a really solid effort required ie: with no stam or magicka left, and maybe 2/3 health remaining.

    Today, using the exact same tactics, those same three mobs wiped the floor with me in 5 seconds flat. I tried various combinations of abilities and CC with zero success.

    I don't know who decided the VR mobs needed even *more* buffing, but... forget it.

    This plus breaking the FoV fix again... it's not fun anymore.

    Dunno , i can tell you , that dif had a freaking crazy spike when it comes to vr9 mobs to a vr9 player.

    No joke , i think i never saw such high spike in one go lols.

    I had done all the quests there and have been in the VR5 zone for half a level, so I don't know today.

    But prepatch, with reasonable care, I could solo the same VR5 three mob groups that are much harder to do today.

    And I am a Sorcerer which is easier (at least for me) than some of the other classes have it.

    Bug or intentional, by now any competent company would have acknowledged one of the threads and communicated something.

    Maybe if they see unsubs growing they actually come and read the posts, I really don't know what is going on since they are patching the EU server as well, it's game breaking, at least for me.

    Yea it's botched. Mobs I could easily kill in multiples in the vr5 zones are now slaughtering me effortlessly. The death recap shows 998+ freaking damage 5 times. It's tip.....Dodge roll.....ummmmm no ***! I do, I'm not stupid, I'm not a terrible player by any means. This is unreal. Them to top it off, pvp is officially ruined for me. Oh look a guy...whoop his a55, just to watch him run to the closest vr5. Guard and then watch him call about 5 other guards. Oh we broke through the wall?! Run in to get 3 shotted by damage that is over 1000+ according to my death recap. Yea awesome freaking fun......

    I have about 1600 health at VR 6, I have several pets, heals and CC and even with all of that I die within seconds under full heal if I am forced during a quest to fight three mobs. I was just fighting 3 mobs that each have an AoE cast time of 1.5 seconds that deals 1000 damage and the mobs have regular attacks of 450.

    I was looking forward to playing weekend. I Guess the only fun I will have is going to lower zones and remind myself what if feels like to be able to kill a small mob. If this is intended I am unsubbing. The game is unplayable at vr levels.

    I would suggest joining the fun in Craglorn . As of now VR5-10 is broken.I bet you will have better odds against VR11 than VR6.

    The longer the silence the more I wonder if it probably was intentional. And if it was not in the patch notes what does not say about the future of playing ESO?

    Time will tell how this pans out.

    This could not be intentional...no way... then why no comment from ZOS?

    Well they closed a "I quit" thread since all these VR threads popped up.

    And made no comment in any of these threads that I know of.

    So they have seen them. And ignored them.

    Very strange behavior.

    I am a sorcerer, I can throw heals on my self and teleport around the room and still BOOM dead.

    I'm still downloading the patch ATM, but if this is like you all are claiming it is, I think it's probable that Zenimax have a saboteur in its files :P

    And if you want they to take notice, just add the name of one of their users in the thread.

    The VR levels don't scale that drastically. The base stat gain per veteran rank is minuscule, and the soft caps make it worse. If you're not a tank then you're lucky to break 2k health in full epic gear if you still want a reasonable magicka or stamina pool. Considering that health pool was already low in comparison to how hard VR mobs hit, the boost to their damage was unnecessary. Even then it wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't made worse by the combat animation delays that occur with the newest patch.
