Huh.
I got three legendary tempers today on one character.
Not sure how that's "crap".
Oh wait, you were one of those that abused the system by getting all of your alts' boxes on your main with the crafting weren't you?

so short dont fix what is not broken, give us the old system back
Thank You
I know it is a quibble but since they changed the system I would kind of like the skill points refunded that I put into hirelings. I know it is only 3 points per character, but it is now three or four points wasted on each of my non crafter alts. The true mules it doesn't matter but I am actively leveling several other characters besides my main crafter and they can always use more skills points.
What did they do to it? Can someone fill me in?
They changed it so you get materials and quality based on the crafting skill of the character who have the skill not the one who received the mail. What did they do to it? Can someone fill me in?

I have a few alts I use for this reason. Do you mean that say, my clothier alt has a level of 5, he will always receive low level crafting items, no matter what his clothier skill is? Or is it the other way around? What did they do to it? Can someone fill me in?
You used to be able to open an alts hireling mail with a main character, if that character was highly skilled in a profession then the materials gained were/could have been of higher level than intended.
Now the level of materials directly equates to the alt/hireling they were intended for.
( a lot of people were using6/7 alts but opening all their hireling mail with the main in order to farm better materials)(technically an exploit that has now been stopped)

Ah, alright, thanks for clearing it up, though the main reason I had crafting alts is so I could get more mats. 5 ore per day is pretty slow.I have a few alts I use for this reason. I think its more like the wood / ore types. Why send a lv1 crafter lv6 materials. The other stuff (tempers, resins etc) you still have a chance of getting purples and golds, same as before.
