Am I gimped?

mark.markandb16_ESO
Hi all,

As I was levelling I completed all but one of the quests in Stormhaven. I accidently started questing in Bangkorai before someone informed me I should have gone to Al'klir Dessert.

I went back and did all the quests I can in the dessert and then continued back in Bangkorai. The problem is I've completed all the quests apart from a couple of group ones...but I'm only level 42.

Any suggestions on how to make up this XP deficit before I move on to Cold Harbour?

Thanks for any responses

It's not just you. I don't know what it is about Daggerfall, but I've been underleveled since I started.

You probably missed more than you think. I always check my skyshards journal when I think I'm done with a zone, and almost inevitably, I find more quests on my way to the missed shards.

I have an add-on that puts all the skyshards on my map, but I'm sure you're still right. There's a lot of ground to cover. Still, it's frustrating.

I make a point of collecting all the skyshards that I can on entering a new zone. I'm only a couple of quests missing from each zone. If I can avoid fighting mobs I tend to do so. Maybe it's just my play style that is leaving me far behind. :\

I'm in the same boat. I'm floating around Bangkorai right now at 41 with nothing significant to do. I skipped a few things in each zone leading up to here. This is apparently very easily done by accident from what I have read. Just keep hitting up those dark anchors, world bosses, and public dungeon bosses.

I've been thinking about something. I skipped the initial Coldharbour/training quest with this character because I didn't want to go through it again, but the thing is, that quest adds a level or two. It doesn't seem like much, but when that's all I'm missing, it kind of makes me wonder.

It takes to about a third of the way through L3 if you run around a lot, but maybe 90% through L2 if you straight line it to the end. There's a couple of chests around which is why I don't straight line through the training area, as I end up with gear to sell and sometimes better armour/weapons.

There are some quests inside the dungeons that you need to read the papers to get. Also there's Stros M'kai and Betnikh which some people skip. It's hard to tell what you might have missed from a forum post. It looks to me like I'll be over L45 before the last Coldharbour Quest starts.
