Seriously what is wrong with you guys. Thousands of payings customers are complaining in dozens of forums on a daily basis.. Then you bring this major Patch containing a lot of new content and fixing many, many bugs. However reading through the patch notes was really disheartining since you cannot find anything in regards to the nightblade's buggy passives. My Nightblade is missing like 20 % Crit, 5 % Weapon damage, at times 30 % Attack speed - since headstart. Combine this with the fact, that nightblades are really hard to play in VR Content, your decision to not fix this in Craglorn Patch is unnaccaptable. I will cancel my sub until my character can be played as intended and i am not forced to use heavy armor, shield or restoration staff in order to survive 2+ enemies.

Yeah, I find 3 mobs is really hard and I die alot. Cant get ahead on money cuz of repair and gem stones.

    1.1 is a major update.
    1.1.2 includes patches.

1.1.3 would be considered a patch.
1.1.4 would be considered a patch.

Nightblade and class fixes, would take place during one of these patches... which are weekly/bi-weekly.

Major content updates, would hopefully be 4-6 weeks apart, and be 1.2/3/4
I would hope that nightblade/class fixes would not be considered a "major patch" and need to wait for 1.2 or 1.3.

Then you are looking months before fixes... hopefully we will see them in 1.1.3/4/5

Can someone from Zenimax comment on this thread? It's obviously a major issue that many players are concerned about and one of the major reasons they were looking forward to this patch.

    They already did. They said:
This thread has been moved to General Discussion.

Which is all you're going to get.

I'm more than unsatisfied with the lack of fixes for the NightBlade. I stopped playing him all together after i got to vet10. After looking at these notes... I'm not waiting for ZOS to fix it anymore. I'm going to continue leveling my Sorc who is Vet3. At least then I can enjoy the game.

I think anyone who is having trouble with nightblades in the VR content (other than VR dungeons), is not using stealth and stealth attacks. If you ambush from stealth you will kill the first mob, then you restealth, and stunlock the next one.

NBs also have a fear if you have trouble with 3 at a time.

World bosses, Dolemens, Delves, etc are all really easy as a nightblade if you use stealth. You can skip every single trash guy in the delves and go straight to the final boss and one shot him. No other class can do that. Skipping things is a big deal when they only give 42 veteran points per kill.

Group dungeons and pvp is lacking, but NB is the easiest class to do all of the leveling content.

Ummm ... I am NOT one shot killing anything (unless they are really squishy and 3 levels under me; especially not bosses.) I have improved dramatically at doing stealth kills and actually see a difference between stealth and non-stealth. And relogging after I die seems to help. But I am NOT one-shot killing bosses.

I have to agree NB passive abilities need to be fixed. They have done only a minor touch up so far when you are talking about 20% Crit loss and a loss of dmg around 5%-10% these are not minor things that need to be done and have been reported for a long time now. So yea NB users are starting to get annoyed by these unresolved issues with our class that has a major impact on playing.

Although I am very glad about the fix "Fixed an issue that was causing Nightblade abilities to become unresponsive in high-intensity combat situations. This issue is caused by a number of factors, and we will continue to monitor it after this patch." I have died so many times because of this issue I would not even begin to count how many times it has happened to me in just a day let alone the whole time I have played.

The only way a NB would be able to one shot anything is with Death Stroke, but even then it would depend on the level difference between yourself and another player or NPC. The ability has been nerfed with 1.1.2

Death Stroke: This ability no longer receives the critical damage bonus when used as a sneak attack. It will still cause a stun and a guaranteed critical hit.

It's pretty absurd that the debuffed Nightblade abilities in this update and buffed Dragonknight abilities.

It's almost like they have their collective heads in the sand and are completely ignorant to what is going on in the game.

Dragonknights don't need buffs. A Dragonknight can fart and clear a dungeon.

If a Nightblade farts in a dungeon he'll be spotted by the enemies, lose his only advantage and die.

It's starting to get to the point of absolute ridiculousness.
Life of a Nightblade (Screenshot Tumblr)

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

It seems you have not tried to complete quests like Storm Calling where you have to fight VR 5+ Storm Atronachs to complete it. Nightblade cannot use stealth tricks against CC immune mobs and bosses not to mention the fact that some mobs keep on you despite using vanish. Also the the bonus from ambushing from stealth becomes more and more useless as you move up in vet ranks. The CC immune VR 5 Storm Atronach alone has 15k hit points.

I too assumed next patch meant this patch since it had yet to be released. They should say next patch after the next patch of the current patch. Or some other confusing way instead of lying.

I could care less about the abilities on my NB, I was getting by and I am almost VR8 but now without the passives being fixed and abilities I do not use getting fixed. Whats the point in playing a NB any longer?

    Sigh!

LOOK for the info! The devs team already said to much when they said patch 1.2 where gonna be mostly about fixing night blades and specificly their passive skills.

I love the NB class to death, but really you shouldn't throw out stuff like that my friend. All we know is 1.2 is going to be very NB friendly. We have no real clue as to the time frame it is going to be deployed.

When I read that post a while back and it said "next patch" call me crazy but I expected... "next patch". These are some of the most important issues in the game. One of only 4 class bases in the game is busted. Half the skills don't work as they should and the passives are borked. But the potential is there... and we love what it should be.

NB players were really looking forward to this patch and fixes - see previous posts in the forum. Can you blame people for being disappointed?

What we see in this patch: DK buff. NB nerf. None of the broken skills and passives that people need fixed were touched. They tweaked one of the summon shadow morphs? Really? I love that skill but I chose the other morph because it's more fun. And I've seen one other NB use the skill (morph or not) - ever. So I get a nerf on my pve DW build and nothing on my PVP 2H build.

My DK alt that I've rolled, however, has been buffed and I can continue to faceroll that through the game and probably bypass by NB soon enough.

you are exactly right on correct and took the words right out of my mouth. i love the way your worded it and spoke the exact truth.

thankyou for saying in words what i couldnt. as im so frustrated right now i having a hard time able to cope with my one and only love, the nightblade.

if they could atleast give us 30 second invisiblity i would be able to handle myself in both pve and pvp a LOT better and escape to help myself. 2.5 seconds is not enough, basicly its my death sentence as soon as im seen im dead. and for that imk prety much unwelcome in groups pvp and pve. i can obviously forget totaly about craiglorn cause i will only be laughed at and booted from group cause ill be dead probably constantly

I totally agree with you, this is very frustrating that we have to keep waiting & waiting. I kind of wish they did not even release the game with a NB class until they worked out all the bugs. I know I could of rolled another class but I thought NB would be a top priority to get fixed right away, I should have known better!

I've respect about 10 times already & tried every possible weapon! LOL. Now I'm VR9 & don't feel like grinding another character to VR10. I wish they would refund me all the gold I spent.

I get very jealous when I see other classes soloing groups of mobs in "Group Dungeons" "Lions Den" :disappointed:

The rotation I've used since the beginning that's helped survive pack of 3-4 mobs:
    Weapon: One hand & shield

Skills: Veiled Strike, Shadow Cloak, Ransack, Killer's Blade, Leeching Strikes
Ultimate: Soul Harvest: if 500% can do over 3k damage when you attack from crouching (hidden)

Rotation: If ultimate is up use it to one hit enemy or when entering pack of mobs crouch from behind the enemy, shadow cloak, veiled strike (stun)(1k damage), ransack, light & heavy attacks until you build up mana & stamina, finish with killer's blade, repeat shadow cloak & veiled strike for the next enemy. Shadow cloak is a life saver, use it to disrupt the enemies.

I can solo many "World Bosses" only if they can be stunned!

    Peace out!

Pretty much exactly what we expected. Add in the flying blade nerf and no bow enhancement pretty much the nail in the coffen to DW/Bow NB.
