I agree the last image you posted is astounding.
Are there particular locations that augment the moon(s) or is it just ANYWHERE, but at the right time, from the right angle?
Are there any quests that fearute the moon(s) prominently, in a visual way?0 -

✭✭✭✭✭The 2nd image was done in Windhelm Eastmarch west of the wayshrine.
Just about any location will work. When I am running around in game if the sun is setting or the moons are out I jump on my mount and try to find a place to get a good screen capture. That is about the only time I ride my mount in PvE. Tops of towers are good for sunsets. I like something in the foreground so I don't look for wide open spots.
I give the images a little more contrast using photoshop. Other than that they are pretty much what I see. I use SweetFX to improve the looks in game but don't remember the name of the pre-made settings I decided to use.

I found where I stood when I captured it. You were really close. It is in Windhelm near where the pie eating contest takes place west of the wayshrine.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."0 -
