Please tell me the group finder is going to work today after patch. I saw nothing in the patch notes. We desperately need a working group finder!

MidknightWolf✭✭✭✭They never should have implemented the 15 minute penalty until the god darn tool was working as intended. Right now leaving and rejoining is the only way to get it to work when you whole teams leaves on you.....but no now you have to wait 15 minutes for a broken system.0

Have you been queueing solo?
Last week (haven't used it since then without a premade group) I queued for the pledges on my tank and healer. I waited about 20 minutes before giving up on both. I've usually gotten a tank placement for the pledge within like 3 minutes, and many others are reporting the same issue with longer wait times (kudos to those of you who waited hours...). With a premade group it works fine.0 -

My guess is your a dps. In any game where the trinity is used for GF dps wait. For 12 man raids dps are King. For 4 man content dps are a dime a dozen. It's why I usually just run with guildies and its life in an MMO as a dps.Edited by idk on 6 June 2016 15:022 -

My guess is your a dps. In any game where the trinity is used for GF dps wait. For 12 man raids dps are King. For 4 man content dps are a dime a dozen. It's why I usually just run with guildies and its life in an MMO as a dps.
And your guess would be wrong... that's as a healer. Besides there is no need to debate this since it has been acknowledged as a bug that will be hot-fixed sometime this week.1 -
jimmulvaney✭✭✭This is still an issue. Many people in chat report waiting for 40 mins + in random dungeon queues and still no group. I myself waited 40 minutes twice as a 501 DK Tank today, looking for a random normal dungeon. No dice. Why twice? because the 1st time I had a 3 person grp and when we finally got paired up 1 person had been removed from my group and replaced by the group finder! Although me and another guildie were more than willing to continue with this new group, they quickly realized they queued for the wrong version of the dungeon and disbanded. Which now means I get penalized for 13 minutes due to no fault of my own! (13 mins because 2 mins was spent in load screen) Seriously ZOS, WTF! Not sure if the population is going down or what but not being able to play content i want is very frustrating. Also you cant que up when you are in PVP which i dont understand the reason for it. So basically i log in with nothing to do except sit there and hope i get in a dungeon which just isnt happening.0

Kaspy✭✭✭We were queing for silver pledge yesterday as tank + heal dring prime time, no group. I assume it to be very unlikely that there were no DD's in the queue for silver/random.
Other issues: this morning got in a group, but one DD left after a while so we were left with tank, heal and dd. The tool could not find replacement. Even worse, we could not add another member as the tool claimed that the group was full (that was already like 15 minutes after the person left).
Group finder was working much better before DB, can we get a rollback to that version until ZOS fixes the new tool perhaps?1 -
Riffler✭✭Actually got a group this morning. Two tanks and a healer. Queued for another DPS, finished the dungeon while still waiting for one.
Grouping matters, the group finder matters. For me, the game is not worth playing without it.5 -

Does anyone use GF for Cyrodiil? I was trying it too and never got any group for hours. Maybe people just prefer LFG on general chat and nobody cares about GF.Trying to queue for Cyrodiil or Imperial City, never worked for me.

Yeah I gave up on the tool until I see it in the official patch notes again. Last night I got pledges done by good ol' fashion guild spamming LFG. At the very least I am extremely thankful for being able to group cross-faction still. Problem is I miss out on that sweet sweet 101k XP bonus which becomes 152k XP when you use a Psijic Ambrosia

Amiliana✭✭✭The hotfix was only to fix the long waiting times, but since then other problems have arrived.
- If you have more than one role chosen, the tool does not see which one you are on when in the group.
- Seems to be problems sometimes when members are from different factions.
- If one member leaves, you would have to get a replacement via group finder (if that even works). Trying to invite someone from outside the tool is in this case impossible, as the tool have "locked" all 4 slots.

Totally incorrect.
I queue as a tank, and have never waited more than a few minutes. Since the DB patch, I wait upwards of an hour for a group. I've only done that once; since then, I just give up after 25+ minutes.
The group finder does not work anymore. It is queuing ESO+ and non-ESO+ separately. It's broken.1 -

Yeah, I have too much to do to spam guild and trade chat looking for groups. I love running dungeons, and I love tanking. I would basically level from 1-VR16 just randoming dungeon after dungeon because that's fun for me.
With the broken finder, I'm done with the game until it's fixed.1
