Weekly Veteran Maelstrom Arena Rewards

What do you think they should consist of?
Should they be "similar" to the trials and veteran dragonstar arena rewards?

it takes a big effort to learn and master the tactics of veteran maelstrom arena, a reward of a weapon or jewelry is what should be. as we all know, there is no way to obtain a legendary jewelery in the game beside competing for high places on the leaderboards, its like this for the trials and veteran dragonstar arena, it should be also alike with veteran maelstrom arena, like it was when its first introduced.
i understand that the maelstrom arena weapons have a chance to be obtained only at the last stage chest, but they can be improved to legendary. what about the jewelry? best ingame drop is epic quality, legendary quality jewelry has to be offered on the weekly rewards of veteran maelstrom arena, just like it was when the arena first introduced to the game and Just like any other trial and the veteran dragonstar arena weekly rewards.

You could try with alts, it's hard but at least there is something really challenging in the game for a single player.

I got really close to finishing it on my heal/tank Templar. DPS was lacking, as I was wearing v14 kags, don't have undaunted 7 yet and had radiant mage light instead of inner. (Also running engine)

You probably need to make a dps set to finish, but it's definitely doable with tank morphs and tank CP. Or you can spent 6k to spec for maelstrom and back again

Legendary Jewelery only

Out of the 20 completions I have done, I have only received 5 jewelry pieces.

I need another way to get them

the legendary maelstrom jewelry is exist but as on last 2 weeks there is no way to obtain it, this is wrong!
i wonder how they came to make it weapons only and how we could reverse that or improve it to weapons/jewelry

Just legendary weapons. The only set thats 'good' is the ice set for pvp, even then its pretty niche. Plus you cant sell anything, so no point in it IMO. At least with the weapons you can decon and hope to get a tempering.

it may be out of point for you since you dont use any of the new sets/// but you dont play the game alone, hence there are many (including me) who is using the new sets and want to have their golden jewelry.

One of your choices is incorrect, VDSA never gave armor as a reward for completing the weekly, just weps/jewelry.
That being said, vMA should have a 100% chance to give a weapon, and a 25% chance to additionally give a golden jewelry piece.

I think there should be no rewards at all. Being on the leaderboards is reward itself.

Should be a reasonable chance at a jewelry drop (33%) or weapon(66%).

The majority of players who have been running this several times a week have the weapons they need but not the jewelry.

this applies to PS4 and xbox1 i suppose(for now), but on PC sorcerer/nightblade/templar is flooding with people

Overkill.

It's not overkill at all. With the only way to get gold jewelry in game coming from weekly rewards (used to), paired with a 25% chance that'd mean on average you'd get 1 jewelry piece a month if you only ran on one toon. How is that overkill at all? I mean, if you want to get your gear the day before a new patch comes out and makes it null, be my guest.

turns out that i made some mistake with the poll. since vDSA weekly gives weapons or jewelry, would be great if vMA gives the same weekly rewards.. and giving both weapons and jewelry with different rate is not a bad option at all. afterall, the legendary jewelery for veteran maelstrom arena weekly rewards is already been designed, but stopped being awarded due to some players suggestion....
