It's been a fun 15 minute argument in zone, but seriously, where is Abnur? No one has found him yet.

    Seems broken. The scroll should give you a quest, but it doesn't.

    My scroll gave me a quest.... Top right corner of my screen, where active quest always displays.

    Abnur can not be found anywhere and the letter won't start the quest. No sign of messenger too.

    I obtained the crown store scroll, but it did not give me a quest and now like many others, i cannot see Abnur.

    That is even stranger, because they clearly stated in the news article that Tharn would be by the Impressario's event tent, no mention was made of the mages guild at all

    Yeah, we're seeing similar things. It's working on some characters, some not, and will even sometimes work on a character then suddenly not work. We're digging in to get this fixed as quickly as possible.

    Hold on - are you sure it's not Abnur Tharn waiting for you for a part of the main quest? He's not the courier

    The location of Abnur depend of your faction, it's normal to see him in the mages guild of Davon's Watch. But it's not normal to not see him in the Daggerfall castle.

    My main account I tried 3 characters and no luck on any of them. Logged onto my second account and the scroll triggered the quest to start. My second account doesn't have ESO+ so is it possible that has something to do with it?

    I shall just look on the bright side then, perhaps once I get around to doing the quests, the delves will be a bit less busy if some of you are managing to get it done now :D

    Same issue here. I got the scroll from the crown store, been all over Daggerfall and nothing. I was so excited for this. Witness Tharn release Dragons. I hope this is fixed soon.

    My second PC NA account with no ESO+ got the quest on reading the scroll immediately, but my main didn't. GG

    He will arrive exactly when he chooses to though. Let those mangy cats and the rest of them wait! An Imperial arrives exactly when he is ready and not one moment before.

    Some of my characters are getting the quest, some others are not. Could the problem be tied to main quest progression? Because coincidentally, I can see Anais Davaux on toons that haven't progressed in the main quest past chapter 2, and thus haven't officially met Abnur Tharn. Also, my DC toon could see Anais in Vulkel Guard and accept the quest there.
