I appear to have accidentally switched my language to German. If I knew how, I wouldn't be asking this, but how do I switch it back? Any bi-linguals out there?

    Right side top there is a pulldown menu to switch languages.
    Or: check your forum path: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/ is the english part of the forum, https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/de the german one -> so just change "de" to "en"
