Volley/Arrow Barrage doesnt work

Having an issue with Volley/Arrow Barrage doesnt work. I target some npc. Press the Volley or the Arrow Barrage button, I get a red circle i move the circle to the NPC it changes into white. But no matter what I do, my char just won't shoot.

I tried several bows, already re-installed the game. I'm not using any addons. Any ideas?

I don't have that skill, but I do have several targetable AOEs that I'm guessing work similarly. I hit the skill once to get the circle, then move the circle to where I want to shoot the skill, and I then left click.

Thanks, but I know what to do and how it's supposed to work. Like I said my char just wont shoot.

Are you moving just as you fire? If so..maybe the movement is cancelling the action if its one that requires you to be stationary.

I'm noticing a similar problem and not just with volley. Lately it takes multiple attempts to get ground-targeted AOE skills to work. It happens when I try to quickly fire off multiple skills in succession, like I used to do in beta.

It's not quite your problem because you're getting the ground target reticle but it may all point to a larger problem somewhere.

No, standing still while I try use the ability

Just because it works for you does not automatically mean that others cannot have problems, please try to be a little more open minded and little less condescending when someone reports a problem.

I have a low lvl alt with this skill but cant say I have noticed the problem you have.
But I'll try to keep it in mind when I use it and see if I can notice something that might cause this or could help solve it.

yeah correct i didn't say anything strange.i just say that the skill is working .so there is a problem with his files or with his char...

i had a friend that couldnt figure out why it wasnt working. basically they were pressing the quickslot button then positioning the circle and pressing the quick slot again.

you gotta press quick slot then left click.

if thats not your issue then i dunno.

With volley of arrows its a Bow skill, this can be fired whilst moving.
I've had occasions in PVP where this has failed, which I assume is due to lag there.
But I've not had this fail in PVE; question once you have the white circle do you right click or left click?

Talked to csr a lot, they finally fixed it. It seemed several people had this problem.
