I see your point here, however that would mean almost every external site is going against their terms. ie. Reddit, TESO Elite, etc.etc.

O K...this is all I see so I was under the impression you couldn't establish an external website to promote in-game trading, auctioning, etc. If so there would be apps and add-ons, etc. Maybe I'm wrong tho
see below:

You agree that You have no ownership right or title in or to any such Downloadable Content, including, but not limited to, the virtual goods appearing or originating in the Services (such as a Game) or any other attributes associated with any Account or Services. ZeniMax does not recognize any purported transfers of virtual property executed outside of the Game, or the purported sale, gift or trade in the “real world” of anything that appears or originates in a Service or a Game. Accordingly, You may not sell, and You may not assist others in selling, Service(s) or in-Game items for real currency, or exchange those items for value outside of the Services. Evidence of any attempt to redeem Downloadable Content for a purported exchange, sale, gift or trade in the “real world” will result in the immediate suspension or termination of Your Account.
.....Virtual Currency will only be used by You to obtain virtual goods within a Game (e.g., durable goods that become part of Your inventory in the Game and consumable or single use items that are used and expire after use within the Game) or other Downloadable Content, through one or more Services, as determined by ZeniMax in its sole discretion.

I believe they only really care if you're selling the items for actual currency or exchanging gold for $$$, despite what that says... because if not, they're really screwed themselves. Honestly, aside from trading guilds, how are we supposed to trade? I mean, i understand we'll have guild stores and kiosks.... but i don't want to wait 4 months to get that one rare item i could've just bought for a slightly higher price via a trading site. We have no way to advertise our sales except for via word of mouth... which will be fun since everybody will know which crafter is best and has better stock, but still lol.

Yea man that's kinda what I am thinking too. Check us out.
Thanks for joining us. I remember at the beginning of PC release when I bought and sold items netting me nearly 1 million gold using ESO Elite buy/sell/trade sections. I hate they became inactive....:(

Keihndeth - As a former TESO Elite CM, I confirm that to indeed be the case. Our new site we'll be moving to is more general gaming based. Never fear though, as just as many ESO articles will be covered there, but with more vlog content. It won't be launching until the end of February (roughly), however. It's to be called Indebted Gamers. Tweet @Garbrac to make him go faster XD
Decrease in game population and website moderators.

Is that the message from the website owner?
I learned about this long ago here: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/looking-to-trade-items-in-the-elder-scrolls-online-bethesda-endorses-community-site/1100-6418981/
There was another article detailing that it was closed due to not being allowed by ZOS. I did not verify this but read what I posted above and concluded it as true.
Just curious if anyone knows for sure.
I've noticed ZOS forum staff is either on vacation or just not doing anything right now on the forums.
Very few dev posts in the last 24-48 hours.
