I'm going to roll an Argonian character, and I'm trying to choose a name. So far I've come up with "Spikes-his-tea" or "Deep-in-his-cups". Got any name to suggest me?

✭I think is cool that people want to name their chars LORE friendly!
It help others who play ESO to get into the game. I know I have to "put up with" people with silly names, that means that I have to like it. A price one have to pay to play a MMO.... 
IMHO, a good and cool char name (in case of OP, an Argonian) is one both lore friendly and goes well with the char's back story and / or personality.
To help to think of a good name, what is your char back story and personality? He / She a goodie two shoes or snake in the glass? Does the char have a hard shell, but inside is all soft and mushy? As you probably know full well @Tankqull, Chews-on-tails is the intended meaning there.
This reminds me of an episode of QI where Robert Burns poem for haggis was translated into german, then back into english. Which turned "Chieftan of the Pudding Race " into "Kaiser of the Sausage People".People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

My character loves tea and booze, and is a bit peculiar in the mind. Basically he's questing and saving the world only to get money enough for his next cup of tea or sujamma, since he doesn't care much about anything else. Also, he doesn't like Molag Bal, nor his plans, because he knows full well that tea doesn't grow in Oblivion, and flame atronachs would spoil his booze. He ran away from Black Marsh because he wanted to see the world, but after a while he got bored so now he wouldn't mind settling down in the marsh with a tail heavy argonian maid... It seems that vaguely Asian/Near Eastern sounding parts of names/syllables mixed with other styles are lore consistent, especially when hyphenated and limited to a few syllables. The three word descriptive convention, with an active verb at the start, as you've listed, is also lore consistent and very popular. Specific name info conventions and numerous examples can be found here. But as others have suggested, a lot of it depends on how you picture your character and his/her attributes.@k9mouse
