Thanks, but no thanks, being able to take something from someone that they spent the time and possibly great lengths of frustration to earn is a terrible idea. This type of behavior will only breed resentment and strife. It would be like taking the Championship belt and the money the loser earned to get there. No longer in the realm of friendly competition, but cut throat competition instead.

I wrote a briefer version of the concern and question in the ask us anything thread, which I'll copypasta here:

"-What is being done to address the extreme EXP disparity between PVE monster grinding, PVE Trials and Dungeons, and Player vs Player combat in Cyrodiil and the upcoming Imperial City? Currently, PVE monster grinding is by far and away the fastest method to earn character, veteran, and champion ranks. This is already resulting in a Champion System disparity, particularly heavily against people who primarily PvP, as repeatedly grinding PVE monsters which are always available every hour of every day of the week, yields well over 5 to 10 times the EXP gain per hour. This means over the long haul, PVP'ers and raiding players will fall extremely and disproportionately far behind in Champion Ranks if left unaddressed.

Can you detail some of the changes you plan to implement to prevent a further progression gap than the damage that has already occurred?

It becomes their hard work if they defeat you when you're carrying a stone ! If you need to save them up, get to the bank and bring them to safety before getting more from other enemies (player or npc).

@Attorneyatlawl that brings up another question! That may not be so easy (or maybe it will be), as it was mentioned there would be some type of minimum requirement or restriction on placing Tel Var stones in the bank! Explaining that more in detail would be great

It sounds like the point of that is to help make sure people can't just carry nothing at all times to bypass having any risk at all by loopholing the mechanic. I doubt it will be any substantial amount as a minimum, but it would be lame to kill people while carrying stones yourself and get nothing for it or the risk you took. Likewise, it would be lame if you could be ambushed by people carrying zero and having nothing to lose, while you have everything to lose. I think we'll see this explained as to what their intention is in the design though.

Seconded. http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/2035219/#Comment_2035219 PVP XP parity is the biggest and most pressing issue by far that really cannot wait, that can be addressed in today's ESO live I feel too, @Zheg.

I'd also love to hear some about the higher level changes for some existing sets. Will Soulshine be updated to vr16 and unnerfed from the newer flat spell power bonus? Will Cyrodiil's Light keep its current five piece effect of 25% damage reduction? Is the maw of the infernal proc change/fix coming in this patch? Burning spellweave... changing to be worth the partial uptime and proc chance? What changes are being done to address the huge gap between spell and weapon power amounts and gear combinations with spell power being much worse on that front?
