eso encountered a fatal error. (Error 8)

After the patch when trying to press play from the launcher my game immediately crashes before it can even open. Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone know how to fix it without completely uninstalling and re installing the game.

My post should say:

"eso encountered a fatal error. ( Error 8 )"

in the first line of text with no space before the "Error" and after the "8" I have no idea why the forum automatically turned it into a smiley face, but there's another bug u might want to check out.

Update: So I tried to repair the client twice with no success, tried deleting my addons and got nowhere, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game still without sucess, then I did two repairs to the newly installed client and it opened finally.

Just got mine working by updating my graphics driver

I also restarted ESO survey thats still on my pc (paladin)
