Argoninan DK Hybrid Tank- Tell me your thoughts!

So, with DB coming out soon- I've got an idea for a Heavy Armor DK Argonian that seems to synergize well with this build:

Head/Shoulders: Bloodspawn Mask and Epaulets. Divines. Prismatic Enchantment.

5 Armor pieces: Twice Born Star all heavy. Infused. Prismatic Enchantment. The Mundus: Thief and Shadow OR Warrior and Apprentice OR Mage and Tower.

Jewelry and DW/1HS: Bahara's Curse. (Here's the fun part... you can have Arcane, Healthy, and Robust for the jewelry!) I'd probably have one Spell Damage enchant, one Weapon Damage enchant, and one Reduced Block Cost enchant. The weapons can be nirnhoned, sharpened, or weighted!

The reason this build synergizes so well is that Bahara and Twice born both give you Health, Stam, and Magicka- along with the prismatic enchants means that you've got a surplus of resources to choose from. Every time you activate your ultimate (even faster now with Bloodspawn)- you gain all three resources back. What's that? Getting low on health? Pop a normal potion and receive HUGE amounts of health (because of the Argonian and DK passives) AND all three resources back (because of the Argonian passive).

You can split your Champion points down the middle for Stamina and Magicka (split evenly between the Apprentice and Warrior). Dump a load of CP into The Tower as well. If you have enough CP- you'll get the 12% crit for both weapon and spell damage. This, in turn, also works well with two of the less-favored DK skills: Flames of Oblivion (extra weapon and spell crit) and Igneous Weapons (extra weapon and spell damage).

I haven't tried the PTS yet- but I'm going to assume that the returns for heavy armor's Constitution will help drastically. I'm also thinking that Rapid Mending and Juggernaut are perfect for the Argonian's passives. Let's not forget- Bahara's Curse is also healing you as you use damage abilities... both stamina and magicka.

Edit: From the testing that I've done in Wrothgar (this is, of course, without any of the new changes) an Argonian heals TREMENDOUSLY from abilities like Burning Embers and Draw Essence. I'm guessing that the new DW skill, Bloodthirst, will heal just as well! So, depending if you've you got your DW or 1HS equipped- you're still getting heals while dealing damage... and fulfilling your role as a tank!

tri pots will work well because you will get a huge health boost to about 50% heal every time, plus massive resources. Plus add in your battle roar/helping hands and you get stam on your obshield proc and triple resources on all ultimate acts.

You'd almost want to get a fairly even split among your stats to get the most out of your resource build.

I run a resource tank - Structured wholly for the purpose of staying alive and actually tanking.

    I love it.

I think your outside of the box build is pretty exciting. It's always so much nicer to run something that's not cookie cutter.

Thanks for the reply, bud. These days, it seems like most people try to stack all their resources into one category- but I'm guessing with the armor changes and diminished shields- people are going to start dividing their attribute points in more than one category.

I like the fact that the game is going in that direction. If you have all attribute points in stamina or magicka- it should make you a glass cannon. If you have all attribute points in health- it should make you a damage sponge that doesn't put out much DPS.

"Play as you want", to me, means that you can tank/heal while putting out damage... but you're going to distribute points and not hit as hard as the pure DPS builds.

    @Wrobel - I like your changes!

This build would likely have a lot of trouble tanking trials, though I doubt that you mean for it to do that. It should certainly be good enough to have fun with in vet dungeons though!

As for actual numbers, I would expect this build to put out at most about a third as much DPS as a pure DPS build, and be maybe about half as tank-y as a pure tank. And though that may sound disappointing, try not to be as really these are pretty good results for a hybrid build!!

One thing to note is that thief + shadow will always give the highest PvE DPS regardless of build, so that is what I would recommend.
