Too many people fail to understand the concept of "teams". Different teams work on different areas of the game. The art team works on textures, models, animations, landscapes, designs (including things like mounts). Other teams then take the resources, make them work in the game. And given the mount system uses the same code across the board, I'm willing to bet most of the work is handled by the art team, while the code team just applies the resources.Giving us camels and all the other tat that's makes up a good deal of the crown store does generate a good deal of revenue for ZOS as obviously players suck it up as fast as they can. Fixing things does not generate revenue. If a player leaves because something is not fixed..it's buy to play so money already in their bank for ZOS. Are they looking for player retention ? I think not .. Again it's buy to play and they just rely on the ESO Lore to suck in new players.

In short, adding mounts is not resource intensive, nor does it really take away massive dev time from bug fixing to handle. While yes, I'm really frustrated ZOS seems to not prioritize fixes as much as I'd like, anger over Crown motifs and items is a bit misplaced.
Yo I think this might be the first time I'll buy a mount... rip brown horse.
I hope this means Wamasu mounts for whenever Murkmire is released.Given that the next DLC is in a desert type area, it makes sense.
Bears for Wrothgar, Camels for Abah's Landing.

I've heard on multiple occasions that there are separate teams responsible for releasing new content and server stability and maintenance.

Artists that are working on these costumes, mounts and pets cant do that anyway. But they can earn some money for eso development.
I agree - the bugs need attention, but 3d modellers and texturers aren't going to necessarily be able to do that.
Haven't they spoil these incoming mount during a recent ESO live ?
But thanks for the tip
Lady Honnorah af-Lahreq says, “There is nothing wrong with camels, as either mounts or pack beasts, and I have the greatest respect for them! Their recent scarcity in Sentinel just shows the power of fad and fashion. Though the Aswala, as keepers of a precious Yokudan legacy, are naturally Crowns, our family was friendly with young Prince Fahara'jad, although he and his family are Forebears, and provided him with several fine steeds in his youth. When he became king (at least of northern Hammerfell), my cousin Merric suggested that, as a gesture to the Crowns, his majesty might make a strong statement reinforcing the tradition that the most prestigious mount for a Redguard is, and always has been, a well-bred horse, and not the camels the Ra Gada found here when they arrived on these shores. King Fahara'jad took Merric's suggestion, and suddenly every rider in Sentinel had to be mounted on a horse! (This also happened to be a fortunate turn of events for Aswala Stables.) However, though horses are the finest mounts gallants can ride, they are thirsty beasts, and expensive to maintain, particularly compared to the hardier and less finicky camels. I predict that, within the year, camels will once again be seen on a regular basis in Sentinel, and throughout northern Hammerfell.

I already countered that terrible excuse...zos defenders on this forum are nutz, they literally defend anything and everything.
The lag, balance, bugs, exploits and just things plain not working and sometimes for months at a time is just completely unacceptable. Any penny spent on crown store fluff or penny made could be spent on increasing bug fixing, performance and stability, pvp dev teams, but it hasn't and probably won't be.
People will leave if it's not addressed. Like they did back in 2014.
