Overload Light Attacks Broken

I cannot find any thread on this so I make one. Sorc Overload skills have gotten worse with Orsinium update. About 70% of the time when trying to do light attacks, you either stand there doing nothing or it forces you into channeling heavy attack. I checked my mouse, my normal weapon light/heavy attacks and all other skills work fine. I personally use Energy Overload and it is becoming useless.
It is very frustrating to die to a boss in Maelstrom or other players in pvp because your skill just does not work. We need fix ASAP.

I thought this was my mouse playing up too, it happened pretty randomly.

However after the latest patch playing today it didn't mess up at all. Not sure if it's been fixed or just better luck. Fingers crossed anyway.

I noticed that too. I have to make a micro-pause between each click, otherwise I get stuck in a heavy attack animation forcing me to simulate a block action to keeping throwing lightning balls.

I thought it was always like that. I haven't noticed a change
