-This has always been odd to me and while I understand how the systems work, I do not agree that these rules in place accomplish the best opportunity for gaming in this current state today for both PC and consoles.

Soul Gems - Soul gems should always have a chance to rez any player regardless of a players level. We are gifted with the understanding to exist without a soul and also reanimate ourselves using a soul gem in our inventory after expiring during a non-boss fight but in Cyrodil and during certain boss fights we cannot.

When we cannot rez ourselves due to rules in place...another player can rez use regardless of their level (odd) but if they have a soul gem at the level of a player being rezzed (very odd)

Rules are Rules for gaming so because these rules should exist to create difficulty I ask that you at least enable soul gems to have a chance to rez any player regardless of if an item is in a players inventory or if a player chooses to rez another player but the time it takes to rez, life after a rez, etc. be based on the soul gem level compared to the player level with an added chance to fail due to larger differences.


*I'm not suggesting to change how soul gems are filled in the world, but I'm open to similar changes if it's possible and viable in the future game designs to come.
