Nice vid, i was watching your Nb tank vids for a while, im on ps4 so dont have the same stats but this vid did help me with some of my attribute points and also i got caltrops ( which is awsome).

My question is: would the new master crafted set be any good over hist if u took blur for the dodge, thinking the extra 5% helth and armour would be nice especially with the lord wardon monster set. Well thats my thinking any way - this s good or bad idea - i have 5 footmans already from vet DSA

    Thanks

I managed to test the master crafted set on PTS and to be honest I wasn't happy with the results. And using Blur is not an option for me at all. It is extra skill on your bars which costs magica and you have to cast it every time when it expires. On top of that most likely you might have to swap bars to cast it. Where the hist bark set gives the same effect as a passive. As far as the Lord Warden set goes... it's also not good set, any other set like guardian engine, bloodspawn or for more dps orientated tank even Nerien'eth would be better.

Awesome looking build. Lots of similarities with the build I've used before 2.1 and I really like the more Magicka based approach. By the way, I don't have Caltrops unlocked yet. Does every tick of Caltrops have a chance to proc Siphoning Attacks or just the initial one? That said, I really should just suck it up and go grind that last Alliance Rank to get the skill...

Thanks for the build. Nightblade tanks for the win!

"Fixed an issue if you had a summoned pet, it could potentially be grabbed by an invisible Molag-Bal and get stuck in a floating posture."
"Dogs can no longer teleport while chasing cats (much to the disappointment of the dogs)."

All the tics from Caltrops have a chance to proc SA, which makes the skill really invaluable for any AoE situation. You should def get it , it's not hard to grind 850k from 0 to pvp rank 12. When I was grinding on my dps templar it took me few days(w/o intense play) to get caltrops =)

Damn. Caltrops is starting to sound like a really awesome skill. Working towards it atm. After tonight's Cyro action, I think I'm missing like 350k AP or something. I mean, 30+ seconds of DoT damage that's capable of procing SA, I think it's worth using even against single targets. Gotta farm that AP tomorrow and Monday.

I thought Caltrops no longer triggered Siphoning Strikes?

    They still trigger SA.
