o.OOP use your mic. This is 2015 not 2003, if you had a mic it might be easier to communicate to others and you wouldn't have to sit around waiting hoping they knew where to go, you could have just told them. If you had a mic you could go to a busy town and ask if anyone wanted to do dungeon with you ie. LFG need healer. It seems like you are setting yourself up for a bad experience if you don't have proper tools to begin with. I agree though that the in game group finder is horrible, get a mic, join guilds make friends make enemies it's what MMO are about.

The only reason I'm playing ESO over something like FFXIV at moment is because of money issues from August to however many months it will take for medical issues, so I needed a free to play alternative to feed my MMO love until I can return.
I may or may not try looking for my mic again and trying to painfully find a healer. Actually, I'm giving myself 2 options if I keep playing:
1. Start putting points into restoration staff and become a healer, but not sure if you get enough skill points total to fill out both destruction and restoration, while also filling out clothier crafting, light armor, and mage's guild skill lines.
2. Ignore group dungeons altogether and just do all other content, but then I would be missing out on good loot, experience, and gold.
I believe there are somewhere around 300 skill points available, so you should be good.Starlightz85 wrote: »Okay, thanks for the replies. To save u time reading anymore comments. Move on to another game, ESO doesn't have the basics of any other mmo, be it text chat, a good lfg tool, an auction system worth using, damage/health numbers, DPS/HP's numbers, if u think something is standard in an mmo there's a very good chance its not in ESO.

My my my.. Fun.. Brings a smile to my face and its what we are about to do.
You need to understand that these "other games" you are making references too have been out for so long they have had plenty of time to modify a winning formula. Some games were so easy to modify due to the graphics being weak.. Not nearly enough code to edit and so on. So knowing it is so easy to modify these inferior games you can understand why it might take longer here.
Of course you can say "they" have had enough time to fix things, but this is console. X1 and PS4 players. While some feature upgrades would be nice I don't mind waiting. Now you say its on PC why not with console release. I would say if you get a haircut if you cut off hair its off. You have to wait for the hair to grow back. Or just cut a little hair at a time.
I don't mind using the mic. I've never had a problem with meeting, making friends. If I want to organize a dungeon I can easily get one together. I can create friends and groups faster than a efficient app. Maybe I'm just awesome
As far as stat numbers in combat I think its not something that can never be implemented. Maybe it never will but in the end this game has a solid core. It's only going to go up. Most players who have come to eso do not read forums. I have yet to talk to someone who doesn't like eso.
Lets walk a mile in their shoes. No one wants to truly give you a bad experience in the video game industry. It's going to come together nicely. Like I said, the core is strong

Skyrim had damage and health numbers, why not ESO? I mean its plug and play. See, all those other games already did the work for you, so again plug and play. They are trying to reinvent the wheel and its coming out square. I would be more forgiving or hopeful if they at least communicated with the player base.

I heard that, and respect it. I know what you are saying but I don't think its that serious right now. Plus lets be real, they are doing a lot of new things. It's working and its going to continue to work. You need to focus on the positives that heavily outweigh the few nnegatives.

We also don't know how many new players are onboard each month. I do know that I see lots of new people every day who are more than happy playing the game.
