Perhaps this will get their attention. If you won't be buying the DLC or ESO Plus due to the log-in issue and poor handling of it, please comment and/or agree.

    Yeah haven't been able to to stay online for more then 5 minutes before getting disconnected....

    Why would anyone buy something they can't play... I won't be.

    hiccups happen, but i dont understand why the lack of communication with us, or the blatant fault tactics when they do decide to respond. We play on consoles.. not pc's (even though they kinda are now) but there can only be so much we can do on our end before its like.... oh ok guys.. were sorry .. our bad.. lets shut down the servers for a min and fix this.

    I haven't been able to play since friday night, there was no acknowledgement of a problem until late Saturday afternoon and their customer support is essentially telling you "It's your problem, figure it out yourself." This is a deplorable way to treat your customers. So yes, if this problem persists much longer I will not be buying the DLC and I will cancel my subscription to ESO plus. I can't deal with another mess like I did with DCUO and frankly this lack of customer service might just turn me off of Bethesda games totally. You are damaging the reputation of your parent company with your terrible customer service and I'll be writing them letter stating just that.

    I agree, its not the fact that an issue happened... It's the blatant disregard for the people that DID enjoy the game, will not be re-subscribing to eso+ or getting dlc, plenty of other games that deserve customer support.

    it seems to me that a server reset is in order here but i guess nobody at their office can do it maybe? anyways this has been one of the worst experiences i have had on any mmo game. the cs is horrible and it seems like they arent even trying obvious things to resolve the issue such as a server reset

    It'd be impossible to buy the DLC if it's only in the crown store due to this issue.
    It doesn't require a post as its oblivious as many of us(including me) are stuck from getting online entirely or we can get online but limited to never porting, or going theough any loading screens.

    On the bright side I ended up finding a grind spot and gained 3 VR levels.
    Bad is, I'm stuck grinding for forever it seems

    Just no lol. Not the worst by far I can name quite a games that were WAY worse. At least we got a response at all, and they are asking us questions trying to figure out the issue. They are not psychic and can figure out issues on the dime without input like any normal person. I do agree though obviously I wont buy the DLC coming soon or keep my subscription going if I cannot play.

    keep in mind i said recent mmos, dont wanna hear about problems from an mmo game 10 years ago. I played tera online before this and they resolved server issues like this within hours and compensated the playerbase with an exp pot or instance reset scroll for their gameplay lost. their forums mods actually did their job and didnt wait 2 days to finally respond to numerous threads on the same subject

    Strange how the issue is only affecting some and not all. I am on ps4 and haven't had any issues beyond the bug that makes my weapons vanish until I die. I hope someone at ZOS figures out what is going on and resolves this problem for you guys quickly.

    Last time I gave this company money was 6/5/2015 and i do not see giving them any in the far off future! They just don't deserve support from any player in my opinion!

    Just so you know a good IT tech should be able to sit at home and login and reboot servers at any time.

    The box sales do not just go into supporting the game, it gets chopped up and a number of companies and share holders have to get their cut. The sales from subs and crown store is the main support for developers and keeping servers running.

    I have always been shocked when people actually think the box sales help keep the game running. :smiley:

    Yea if they take to long I do want some compensation since I still have 8 more days on my sub and have wasted 3 now for this issue. I will be pissed if it lasts much longer without credit. But games like AoC, and DF had way more issues and those games are not "10 years old." This is the first time I have ran into anything on ESO besides quest progression since launch on consoles 2 month's ago.

    A bug will not effect every single person every time it is more complicated than that. Just because it doesn't effect you does not mean it's not a bug on their end. The world does not revolve around you lol.

    Already canceled eso+ sub. Darn shame that I have whole 10 days left on current month one :/ such a waste of money.

    Icing on the cake.

    I won't be buying the DLC or ESO Plus because -
    • There is no text chat option in a game that sorely needs it
    • The LFG tool flat out DOES NOT WORK
    • The VR grind makes me want to scoop my eyes out with a spoon
    • The upcoming DLC is PvP focused. Great for the PC players who have been waiting 2 years, but as the FIRST console DLC offering?
    • The ingame economy / guild trader system is HORRIBLE
    • Daily writs are horrible. Woodworking/Blacksmithing/Clothing rewards are a JOKE
    • My friends are already quitting the game now they're hitting VR ranks and given up, there's just nothing 'fun' to do in this game outside of PvP and even that gets tiring being so one dimensional
    • All the 'fun things' like pets, mounts, costumes are gated behind a real money paywall. You can't go 'farm' them in game at all.
    • There's no seasonal events either. End game in ESO you either do trials for gear grind or PvP for gear grind and it's BORING.

    My friends and I are already starting to play other console games more and more now, ones with far less barriers to entry that are friendly to both playing together and supportive of 'pick up and play' ideology.

    That's not to say we're just too casual either. We were end game guild raiders in World of Warcraft from beta to mid Pandaria before we stopped. But there's grinds and then there's the VR rank grind. Urgh!

    ESO has serious gating issues (even in PvP with the Champion point system) that makes it an extreme grind fest which in the console market honestly has no real place in 2015. It's an old, outdated system.

    I'm not saying they should adopt the Neverwinter route either and have a max level toon in 48 hours, but the VR grind in this game doesn't feel like you're 'playing a game', it feels like a boring, repetitive job that you'll grow to hate.

    The fact they're going to add on an extra 2 of these horrible level grinds with the next DLC doesn't inspire me in the slightest to open my wallet at all.

    It just makes me want to quit while I'm ahead and find another game.

    I've no doubt sales around launch are great, especially since the Xbox market is starving for a GOOD MMO. I just feel like for every one thing ESO gets right, it completely misses 2 more that are 'standard' in the world of MMOs but for whatever reason were totally ignored or over looked for inclusion in ESO.
