What do you think about this: Roots will be extremly good in 1.7?
Since dodgeroll increased cost, bolt escape increased cost. Wouldn't a talons-spammer be quite deadly? :P

Waylander✭✭✭✭On vamps dawnbreaker of smiting works well in place of incapacitating strike. Grim focus > prox det > teleport strike or cloak in for bonus stealth damage > dawnbreaker of smiting
As a magica NB, coming up against another magica class stacking harness magica and a class shield makes for a fight where it is difficult to burst them down.

S&B - 2 hander w/shuffle.
Up to 2776 Stamina regen without any buffs other than Drink and I'm still wearing garbage gear with only 2 stam regen set bonuses. I'll be bursting up to 4K Stamina regen in a ~75% max weapon damage build by the time IC hits. If I get low health just spam Absorb magic and let you heal me to full while I'm waiting for the roll dodge counter to reset. Pretty much the only way a stamblade is going to survive a good sorc in 1.7 as well.
I'm really starting to like Deep slash. Maim + Aoe Slow + Damage, it's doing wonders against the sorcs I find so far, I need to test to determine whether the slow/maim is blockable. Was using it on our favorite garbagecan exploiting sorc last night as he tried to kill me.
I think all these magicka nigthblades are going to have a tougher time than they think with the nerf to Healing ward. Remember damage shields are going to be weaker than damage itself for today and the healing done by healing ward will be roughly 25% of what it heals for today!
