Guild Trader bidding - History fix or not?

So I was reviewing patch notes, looking for the Guild History fix that I thought was going to be implemented last year. It's still not fixed...or is this another 'working as intended'?

I don't have to go into detail, but this is far from a 'Blind Bidding' system when anyone in guild can see the bid on a guild trader. This forces last minute bids Monday mornings. Again, working as intended?

Ongoing bids can't be seen by regular members. This was fixed with 1.6 I think. They just see if the final bids succeed or fail. So, there is no more need for last minute bids.

As of 1.6 only personnel in the guild authorized to place a bid can see the amount until after the bidding cycle is over, then all can see what was bid.

that's not true last night i was able to see a full bid history.. of one of my guilds.

... and when checking the access level chart, are you not allowed to place kiosk bids? If so, then you need to provide screen shots and forward to ZOS. This was working after 1.6/2.0 was put on the live server; possibly broken again after an incremental patch.

Wow, if you players didn't realize this...lol. There is no way to lock out any part of the history to members. It's visible to all.

No need to send a screenshot, just test it. Get your lowest guild rank with ZERO permissions to view the Guild history. They can see it all, every part.

I like the transparency of this, BUT NOT for Guild Trader bids.

I just tested it in my trading guild. Can't see the bids without the rights to hire a trader, as it should be. Maybe a bug that affect random guilds?

Important to note that the hidden bid is only the bid placed after 0800(ish) ET. When the traders switch for the week. Be sure you are testing based on current bids not old ones.

For those who can still see the bids, be sure that you, yourself are not permitted to make a bid. If not, and you can see the current bid (not the one that was completed as of this morning), then let's look for a common link between you all

For instance:
* Did the trading guild exist before the patch was put in place. (before 1.6)
* Were you a member of the trading guild prior to the patch
* Were you ever at a level where you were able to bid on a kiosk

even if regular traders cannot see the bids without permission to hire traders
they can look at the guild bank gold balance in last seconds

If it is in last seconds, then unless the guild in question has no activity it would be a bit of math to be done to keep track of the sales and determine the amount of the Guild's share to get an accurate number (in the last seconds, mind you).

I run 5 trading guilds and this is no longer an issue in any of them.

Members without permissions to hire trader can only view last weeks bid. If it's different for you then your guild must be bugged.

Why can members in my guild see my bids after the win, but I can't see the winning bids in other guilds that I'm in? Is there a special trade guild setting that I'm not privy to?

only people with bid-right should be able to see the bids, check the rights of your ranks. if u checked that and nobody of them is able to make a bid = call support.

EU, and The problem was I was demoting an officer to check and they didn't log out and back in before looking. It's all good. Move along. These aren't the stupid droids you're looking for. LOL.
