I'm sure this topic has been brought up multiple times with no answer from ZOS yet. I'm one of the many people that didn't get to take advantage of the account transfer to console.
I was wondering, did Zenimax really mean to give a one time notice (only available for a month) for the console transfer given the fact that this feature is beyond important for thousands of players?
Did they consider that some people may have reading and understanding impairment? That some may not check their sing up emails as often as other people do? That as humans we meke errors or forget important information that we read?
Should Zenimax be punishing players for not being perfect?
Yes, i do consider this a harsh punishment for the following reasons.
- Players spent months of paid subscription working hard to develop their original character.
- Some loyal customers (such as myself) bought the game twice and have been supporting them since day 1.
- With the console release they split up friends and family to different platforms.
Would it be too much to ask for peoples (hard worked) accounts back and have everyone play happily on their preferred platform?
At the end of the day we did spend a lot of time and money on our original characters so they should be available to us correct?
In my case my pc doesn't run ESO properly so my character is stuck in a lag world that ZOS refuses to get me out off for making a humanly mistake.
The least they can do is give us the option to pay for our character transfer such as many famous MMO do.
Does anyone agree?
Is ZOS planning to give us an update on this topic?
