How to build a Geralt in ESO?

So having played TW3 and thoroughly enjoyed it I, probably like many, wanted to bring my Geralt character into ESO by the magic of one of Yennefer's portals no doubt.

I've created a Nightblade in the Daggerfall Covenant and the question I have, is there any armour sets or pieces that give you the famous Witcher look? Also on a slightly wider point, I'd like this guy to be good at PvP so with a nightblade is it better to go with light, medium or heavy armour? Would one of those negate the look of the Witcher, is it even possible to make a Witcher type character I wonder (the character model is quite limiting so I can only get a close approximation to Geralt here).

Finally which spells do you think most closely resemble the famous signs of TW3 such as Quen, Aaard, Axii etc?

Am I wasting my time or do you guys think this could be fun and effective in PvP?

The most important thing to do is to choose hair, face and name to resemble Geralt.

In TW3 there are so many armor sets that I wonder which look you refer to as the "typical" witcher look. With all the styles and color options, ESO allows for a lot of variety. I'm sure you'll be able to get close. Post a picture, if you like. I may be able to give you pointers.

When it comes to skills it looks a bit more grim. If you say that you want to be any good in PVP, then you'll have to pick your skills in a way that it allows you to play well. In general hybrid magicka/stamina builds are not competitive in ESO.

The closest skill to the quen sign is probably the Templar's shield skill. But Annulment or Immovable also give you the look of a shield. I can't think of skills that resembles Aard or Axii.

Though I can see where you're coming from, it could be that you will end up having more fun if you leave Geralt in the Witcher universe, and fully embrace ESO. Tamriel is rich in lore, and it's easy to invent a small backstory for your char, a name and appearance that fits it, indulge in ESO as something new.

If you use
heavy shoulder pads and black died medium armor, it should be fairly easy.

Thanks guys, especially spoqster for taking the time to really think about what I asked. FYI the typical look of Geralt is the one on all the marketing pictures, it's the armour you get when you first start.

Someone take Gerald and make him live please.

There are not not enough kitty cat eyed men who are obsessed by bathing women in ESO. Actually there are not even any baths in ESO ....

Incidentally I am very very bad at W3. Level 5 before I learnt how to cast a sign or eat food.

In all fairness, it's mostly women who seem obsessed with bathing around Geralt, not the other way around.

I saw a Zaknafein in Toothmaul Gully the other day. He looked FANTASTIC and his gear/weapon/skill set seemed pretty authentic.

the problem with geralt, is that he stays geralt..
in ESO u create a warrior in your own image, that's why eso is far more better than w3.
