Sorc's bolt escape BS

Hey, im not a pro pvp player in eso cos of lag, i didnt join cyrodiil. But i did pvp in many games for years like ultima online,wow etc i mean i know how things work how they should be. Today i entered cyrodiil to complete some achivements quests dolmens delves etc.. and i fought with players but they were single or two it was okay i killed some of them or they killed me that was fair until i encountered a sorcerer it was total bull !!! First i charged and attack he/she started to teleport and nuked me from range with instant 15k crystal shard hits + knockback then i died and cursed zos i didnt mind too much and resurrected on the castle and returned that area to complete my quest i saw the sorc he/she was still there and there was like 500 yard between us then i started to ride opposite direction and my riding skill is full %60 and he/she started to teleport and chased me and caught me i was ahead of him/her like 500 yards or more and i ended up dead with insta 15k hits it was total bull !!! I ve played with all classes 3 of them are vet10+ and i got sorc too and before this i was already thinking bolt escape is too OP but i stopped playing with my sorc cos i dont like ranged chars. Sorcs hits like a truck they got shield and they got unlimited mobility thats total bull !!! every half wit person can see that now people gonna say they weak thats why they hit like a truck or they got shields yes i know that but their unlimited teleport makes them most powerfull class by far compared to the other classes that bolt escape needed a big nerf or cool down asap!!! Its like a god mod !!! nerf it or remove it from the game or give other classes similar ability !!! Also if sorcs are weak then they can wear heavy armor or use shield and sword with stamina!!! and trade off their spam dps and light armor passives for survival !!! like the other poor classes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sort of stupid rant (I'm sorry I'm so blunt, but it's the only way I can describe it, and it's on you for not searching the forums, where it's come up and been rebutted time and time again) is what nearly killed the Sorc class in 1.5 FOR FREAKING PVE, i.e. they nerfed Sorcs so badly due to PvP whining that Sorcs became all but useless in a part of the game that has nothing to do with the original whine.

[EDIT]By the way, if you still can't be bothered to research this subject elsewhere on the forums:

- Crystal shards take forever to cast, and have a cue even if they're "insta-cast". They can be interrupted or blocked.
- 15k is nothing special and you didn't say what your stats are (namely crit and magical resistance). Lots of skills from lots of skill lines from lots of classes can do this sort of damage.
- Bolt escape can be countered in a number of ways, particularly if the sorc is running away rather than chasing you. It's also the ONLY SKILL IN THE GAME that got a nerf that makes it cost more each time you cast it in quick succession. When you say Sorcs get infinite mobility you are flat-out lying or ignorant.
- As for wearing heavy armour, I'd like to see your Sorc heavy armour build. Stamina sorcs don't have much going for them in ESO right now, going all heavy is a huge hit on max magicka.
- Learn to use paragraphs and punctuation.

I don't need to be a pro to see this i have the ability abstract thinking. Bolt escape need to be nerfed

1. No class self-heals comparable to Templars or DKs (Nightblades suffer from this too);
2. Stamina sorc builds right now are very underpowered; going full medium or heavy does a huge hit to max magicka and magicka sustainability, i.e. a dead sorc.
3. Haven't played other classes in order to know their DPS, but I don't think a sorc's DPS is above those other classes.

i am dragon knight and im not vampire or dunmer also im not talking about damage i think every class got balanced dps it depends on the player

WaitI don't know if you're serious but a dk??? You know that as a DK, Crystal drag is EASILY reflected? as others mentioned, there is no excuse but to learn your class and counter sorcs easily.

False bolt escape have limited uses especially when the next spell cast 's magicka cost is increased. if a spec spams bolt escape, there will be limited magicka pool for offense. As a DK, you could've taken advantage of this With the arsenal of abilities from their line.

Play as you want is not the same as win as you want.

I'm not saying you should use a cookie-cutter build. But you do need to understand the abilities of your opponents and how to counter them. You can simply throw the skills you like to use on your bar and go to town, but you can't expect to be invincible or even very good. It takes work to come up with builds that adapt to a high number of possible scenarios. So maybe you SHOULD go to the forums, see what others are doing successfully, and develop a build of your own from there.

lol i told you i was questing there i didnt even put abilities for pvp !! also my gear got full training traits i was leveling my medium armor i didnt go there to kill people ! i was avoiding players !! i know i will be great in pvp when im ready but still bolt escape is obviously unbalanced

That sorc probably have that experience and can peruse the abilities he see fit, but it doesn't mean bolt escape is OP. You are new but please use the search buttons regarding the discussions on this issue (pros and cons). it doesn't need a nerf, it's been nerfed hard enough. Just because you had two instances of anecdote doesn't reflect a generalisation that it needs a nerf. People here are trying to reason with you about solutions, advice etc. but you are dead set (no pun intended) that certain skill needs to be toned down just because you weren't ready. People die in PVP, get over it.

I think long sustained open world 1v1 combat is fun and engaging and Zos should focus on improving this aspect of the game.
That being said I am completely against nerfs.
Everything should be buffed to the max and some damage buffers should be applied (say 60% damage reduction to player vs player damage flat rates across the boards...), focus on making abilities FUN not about 1 shoting eachother.
This would allow players to have a way to measure and react while in combat... which makes pvp more about chess moves instead of checkers moves....

I think everyone could get behind that kind of PvP.

Its not about being pro or noob its about balance between classes and i dont need to be a pro player to see this unbalanced ability !!! i know im going to be pro if i focus on pvp in eso i didnt due to lag/fps issues in cyrodiil. Between Burning Embers, Coagulated Blood, Burning Heart, and Battle Roar the DK has amazing and sustainable healing. Especially if you use your Champion Points on the passives that increase the healing received and healing initiated.

Between Burning Embers, Coagulated Blood, Burning Heart, and Battle Roar the DK has amazing and sustainable healing. Especially if you use your Champion Points on the passives that increase the healing received and healing initiated.

for example : you abmushed by 3 people you are a dk or nb or templar doesnt matter you have only 1 choice you have to fight to death you cant escape them !!! you need to kill them or they will kill you there is no escape but if you are a sorcerer you can just spam 1 key and ignore them there is no way they can catch you up also bolt escape stuns !!! even this is enough reason to nerf bolt escape

You know what else costs a lot? Bolt Escape. Because PvP noobs complained until ZOS nerfed the heck out of it. You can spam Dragon Blood more than that Sorc can spam Bolt Escape.

Get off the forums and spend some time learning to play the game. You are currently playing the most OP class in the game btw.
