Idea for towns in Cyrodiil and PvP Arena

The guild I am in has been together since the start of this game, we were once known as The Veiled and towards the end of last summer revamped our guild and are now known as Phoenix Rising. We have had players come and go, most of which completely left the game. Over the past few weeks, some of our older members have come back to the game; which is great. If ZOS can manage a positive incline, I can see many people returning to the game.

As far as some suggestions for Cyrodiil, we know it is laggy and there is no reason to keep posting useless threads on the issue; so leave it at that. Do not post about lag in this thread, nobody cares. What I purpose are ideas that could help break up the hording or zerging Cyrodiil has become. The biggest problem I see with Cyrodiil is that everyone hordes around the map now in a giant group. Occasionally you get Guild v Guild action, but most of the action is zerg on zerg or zerg v guild; either way this is not fun. The first one, people experience tons of lag and whichever group can out heal and let the damage catch up wins. The second one, the guild usually gets rolled over by the zerg.

Not sure if anyone has brought this up at all, but why not turn the town quest hubs into PvP/PvE objectives? Place multiple capture points around the PvE towns and give perks to people questing near them or the over all zone. Give people x3 or x4 XP per quest turn in at these towns to get people to actually quest there. As people flip the towns, the guards and npcs change to whatever faction controls that town. I understand, ZOS, you do not want to focus on Instance PvP or Arena PvP, but this would be a very fun way to get people to fight small scale battles. The idea I have behind this, to anyone who played WOW, would be to simulate the countless battles around South Shore and TM; those were fun, am I right or am I right?

My other Idea, again not sure if anyone has brought this up, but give us a player v player arena in Cyrodiil. ZOS you already have the basic set up for this style of content, DSA. What would be a great idea is to add a gladiatorial arena into Cyrodiil that players can control. Groups of 4 can challenge each other in this fighting pit, other players can place bets and watch from the stands like the NPCs do in DSA. You can have a tiers set up so as people climb the ranks other teams can compete for the top spot for that day or week. You could make it into a week long event or a day long event or even a few hours a day event.

With both of these ideas, I feel you ZOS, could expand on them and really make something cool. I know you have the Imperial City coming out at some point, but I hate to be Johnny Rain Cloud; if you release the Imperial City the way Cyrodiil is now, you will 100% completely destroy anything fun left to do in that zone in regards to PvP. You have already asked people to spread out and fight around the map, but until you give people incentives to do that; people wont because they are lazy.
