Should Our Pets Do a Little More?

First I am not asking them to be part of the combat, too many reasons why that is not a good idea. Nor am I asking them to Farm Nodes for me, as that would make some sense in an SPG, but not for an MMO.

I was doing some mob farming last night and just could not help watching my dog standing there watching me. I was thinking maybe he should growl a little or maybe a bark or two. Nothing overbearing or constant, just a little vocalization to at least know he is on my side and not just a casual observer hanging around hoping for scraps.

Thoughts?

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

i do think they should do cosmetic things if possible.

Dog Barking, cat hissing, you could even have the Dwemer pets do visual only attacks (sphere shooting arrows and Spider shooting sparks)
I play every class in every situation. I love them all.

Myself and I know of one person already made suggestions for pet emotes (i.e. /sit, /rollover etc. ) to be readily available in the future. Hope they take this feedback in. More feedbacks makes it closer to reality.

Additional actions like you mentioned wouldn't hurt either.

I never thought of Emotes, that would be a great idea. Thank you for mentioning that.
