Wait until next month when they stop leasing as much server capacity for player influx again. Hue hue.I'm telling You I haven't seen the servers act this well since Wabbajack .

I think it is because there are many more players who aren't as hardcore about PVP in cyrodiil right now.
Before the update almost everyone in PVP was most likely a very serious player and was constantly in battle. Now that means that a capped server would be full of players who are each pushing the server to crunch their numbers more. Now I think that the other players who don't go as hardcore or maybe stick to the delves or dailies are taking up enough slots while not pushing the server to its max. This is allowing those unused cycles to be distributed to the remaining hardcore or action intensive players.
Lets assume that a players before the patch was rated at a 9-10 on my very own made up processing demand scale. So ~1000 players would be demanding 9000-10000 processing units on average.
Lets say 30% of the current players are around the 4-5 processing demand mark. So they are consuming 1200-1500 processing units while the remaining 70% are taking 6300-7000 units. In total that's 7500-8500 units of demand.
I am assuming that even tho the action intensive players are doing what they always have been, they are seeing less lag because the server just isn't being hit as hard.
