Murphy's Respec Law:
  1. The very moment you commit to Morph A, Morph A will be changed in the next patch, making Morph B more desirable.
  2. Exactly 24 hours after you pay to respec, a courtesy free respec will be offered due to game changes, primarily involving Morph A.
  3. Upon using the free respec to commit to now better Morph B, the patch after the patch will undo the change, again making Morph A the better choice, effectively making Morph B in this step the new Morph A in step 1.
  4. After the patch after the patch, no free respecs will be offered until you have once again paid out of pocket for a full respec. Again, the purpose of this respec will be to enable the changing of Morph A to Morph B, back to Morph A.
  5. The very moment you have paid for said respec, item #2 will again come into play.
  6. Should you try to use this rule to your advantage, always choosing Morph B, the only change that will ever take place will be the arbitrary renaming of Morph B to "Morph A," again forcing you to respec to obtain Morph B, which was formerly Morph A.
  7. Once this respec is complete, they will realize the arbitrary nature of renaming Morph B to "Morph A" and Morph A to "Morph B," and the following patch will undo the naming change and implement the original intended change in seen in Step 3.
  8. By this point in time, you will have lost any an all recognition of what your original build intent was and will choose to reroll to Class B, abandoning Class A.
  9. The moment you reroll, Class B will be retooled to mimic Class D, Class C to Class A, Class D to Class B, and Class A will simply be renamed "The A Class."
  10. Realizing the futility in this, you commit and morph your skills for the newly named class.
  11. Start again with step 1.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

I Understand what you wrote but I dont understand what's this about?
If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.

So true, makes me wonder how people like Deltia retain any vestige of sanity after trying to keep track of it all.

As you know, Murphy's Law is famous for its Corollaries.

    Here's one:

All you stated above applies to gear setups too. In particular:

    1. You spent months getting that last piece. Patch makes it worthless or completely change the gear "meta" around.
    2. You spent half a year getting top end raid pieces, each upgraded to gold with gold enchants: patch comes and makes all of it completely worthless.
    3. Your reward for doing [Name] Vet instance or [Name] Trial was that awesomely looking gear set. Come next patch they reskin it into Peppa The Pig dress.
    4. Your reward for doing [Name] Vet instance or [Name] Trial was that awesome stats gear: come next patch they make the instance way, way harder but nerf the reward gear to beyond useless.
    5. In the craft gear window, you SHALL forget to press "+" next to materials. You SHALL upgrade it to gold. THEN you shall notice now you have a VR 9 gold item...
    6. You need to buy those 8 gold reagents. You immediately find 6 for regular price. The 7 is listed for 20k. There's no 8 whatsoever and the guy spamming WTS in zone chat till 2 minutes ago of course just logged off.
    7. You went your way to that super-secluded gear set craft station. You go all the way through crafting. Damn you only got 7 gold reagents. "Oh well, 87.5% chance to get it done". BHAM => craft fails, you lose all.
    8. Same as 7 but you end up missing one reagent every 2 days. You STILL fail every craft attempt despite it says 87.5%.
    9. You just made your 3 gold enchants. Next day, patch notes announce that enchant got nerfed to oblivion.
    10. You go to purchase the Martial Set (or another): there's 1 belt for sale and 718 head pieces and that's it. Did those mobs all turn into Hydras to have all those head pieces? :p
    11. After 2 months you finally find a guy WTS your oh-so-desired gear piece. You try contacting him... => character name bug so you can't tell him you want it. You decide to call him on zone chat and either you or him immediately disconnect. Of course once you are back, the guy just logged off, never to be seen again. If you actually manage to find him the next hour, he just sold that item to somebody else and for 1/10 of the price you were ready to pay.

This sort of falls within other threads were people asking to change traits on existing gear due to the game mechanics and ability changes.
