Length of Enlightened That Can Be Stored

Currently 3 days of enlightenment can be stored (if I understand correctly). I feel this is too short and think a longer time is much more reasonable. The reason for this is that I have personally gone on 20 day vacations. If traveling internationally taking a computer is a pain and comes with some risk (transporting it could cause damage....especially with those baggage claim personnel, theft from your hotel room, weight on plane is expensive, the space it takes up. Etc..) In addition to traveling there are other compelling reasons to lengthen the stored time. This includes levelling alts, if you want to play your alts for a month and then worry about using your enlightened you are not obligated to switch back and forth as frequently. Thus the poll (I have tried to be fair):

Since they are ranges it would be extra cool if you posted your actual desired value below.

While writing this I was initially thinking that 30 days was a good value but I votes 2-4 months as I have considered it further and I think 90 days is actually a good relaxed value that prevents someone from boxing up the game and collecting too much but also allow flexibility for whatever life events that arise. Perhaps I would put the condition that non-subscribers can bank 30 days and subscribers (as long as their sub remains active while gone) can bank 90 days (or I guess if paying they can bank unlimited until they unsub at which point it freezes).

I'd say no longer than a week because it would allow people to bank it and come back then grind 500 CP in a few weeks. CP system isn't supposed to be a grind but it is because they nerfed us and we want our candy back.

Clearly the mechanic is designed like a daily, with the goal to get people to login more consistently.

If you could stack this beyond a week, people would just log in every so often and have a marathon grind session, keeping up with the people playing every day.

I wish it was slightly longer, about a week would be optimal in my opinion.

5 days, for the people who do the majority of their gaming on the weekends. I doubt they'd go any longer than that because it's in the company's best interest to have players logging in to play regularly.

Unlimited. Its absolutely irrelevant to have a limit.

I think 3-4 days is fine. I've not been able to use my up my enlightenment yet because I am able to work through 1 CP a day more or less.

I think there is a balance between encouraging people to keep playing if they can't log in and play every day (by giving them enlightenment) and giving them too much reason to not log on.

Yes, on the occasions where you are going to be away from the game for longer periods, it sucks to think you are losing all that enlightenment, but on the other hand, would you ever be able to catch up?

I cannot speak for future progression rates but as I understand current rate is 1 cp per day of enlightened is granted and at current I can complete that in 24 or fewer minutes....so if I was gone for a month assuming the current system represents the future system then I could catch up in about 12 hours of play time. So I do think you could easily catch up.

1-2 weeks seems fair to me. Covers your basic "I have a life" stuff and allows people go catch up when they have time. Banking after that... not sure you could reasonably use that much enlightment. Most people either play a ton and use it as fast as it comes in or don't play enough to use it all.

As others have stated 1 week seems fair to people who live in the real world and can't play necessarily every 3 days enough to burn your enlightenment down, but also not too long that players can just not play for a while then come back to easily get their CPs.

The more I think about it constantly banking as long as your subbed the more I'm thinking zos makes out like a bandit with this move...I mean people pay them to not play! No server resources used up...no customer support issues....happy subscribers that don't feel punished and envious mooches that don't spend a penny more than B2P and dlc..
