I am sure the 1.6 download will give me plenty lol.
Well I don't see how this would solve the EXP issues in cyro, I mean right now you have what ~1000 a kill? The difference wouldn't be that big with this system honestly. The thing is that the people who tag all enemies as they die gets a lot while people who kills a player solo gets *** exp.
What they need to do is simply do a system like yours but also increasing the quest exp when killing enemy players by a *** for example (or other things like that).
Ok, I corrected the player bias....
Now the calculator should be working correctly and should automatically adjust exp based on faction kill history and should create an exp to compensate for factions with fewer active players facing larger zerg balls ... this should create a fair exp system where the average PvPer would make about 100k per hour (400k exp per hour with enlightenment). There would be two ways to apply this:
a) the player who gets the killing blow gets the full kill experience (this is biased against tanks and healers)
b) If a group member kills an enemy then the experience from the kill is divided evenly among allies within a certain range (and in combat when the player died).
You should be able to adjust kills and current players online
Additionally I would suggest placing the "Current exp per kill for your faction" on the pvp zone selection screen. This mean that when your faction is receiving higher experience (i.e. when you're the underdog, losing either by skill of sheer number of players) your allies are encouraged to join the fight. Meanwhile Stronger factions (i.e. overall stronger players or more players) have slightly lower experience which discourages players from joining the fray on that faction. These two effects should cause the teams to be more evenly match in Cyrodil also.
