Seriously, the audio dropouts, unplayable lag, exploitable and broken skills which for some reason you refuse to fix in a timely fashion instead focusing on more pve content, the population imbalances etc etc is beyond a joke, I fully understand the fact that there is multiple departments working on different things, but when these issues brought up months and months ago continue to fall by the wayside we as paying customers start to get upset.

This is not your regular pay your $90 on a finished product and play with bug fix patches here and there to keep your player base happy, this is a subscription service where we as a whole are paying mega dollars every month to be able to play this broken, mostly untested and at times joke of a broken game.

I have been here since beta like alot of people, and i'm a massive Elder scrolls fan and have put up with so much since this games release and continue to subscribe in the hope that one day this mmo becomes what we all want it to be but frankly my patience is starting to fray. PvP was touted as being such a huge part of this game and yet continually is given the short straw when it comes to fixes and improvements.

I really hope you're beginning to see the declining PvP player base that we all are seeing and realize that these issues need fixing NOW not later, not after the latest PvE content has been released and has brought new bugs/lag and exploits into the mix, we need them now before all you're left with is a few PvE subscribers.

Please just fix the game.

I have come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories in my head why ZOS seems to neglect and ignore PvP and responds immediately to ANY tiny, minuscule complaint that PvE'ers have.
    • Why does ZOS appear not to care about PvP?
    • Are PvP'ers really the minority?
    • Does PvP push the game engine, netcode, and programming resources to their limits?
    • Have they just given up on cyrodiil?

Then I saw this reddit thread

Click on the links there. This is the kind of stuff PvE'ers report as bugged. A player was upset they couldn't find Maiq the Liar and all zones and got a full and prompt response from ZOS.

    Freaking Maiq....

While PvP'ers have terrible DPS, server drops, bugged skills after every respawn and a host of other gamebreaking things, ZOS is focusing on making sure carebears can talk to a lying cat in every zone.

So instead of giving up hope and being depressed, realize that we are being out QQ'ed by people that are much better at crying to ZOS then we are.

It takes more effort but some say PvE carebears never sleep.

Report bugs, as they happen, EVERY TIME. Submit support tickets.

Drown out the carebears in a tidal wave of tears the world has never seen.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease guys.

Well, if we take into consideration population limits per campaign which is said to be 1800 (600 per alliance) prior to game launch, and we can be certain that number is lowered in meantime due to performance issues in Cyrodiil... with 4 active campaigns (in case they are always full) that would yield roughly ~20k of pvp players at most during one day. In reality, all campaigns are empty over the day and only Thornblade can get more than one bar out of prime time, badly cutting projected number of players during day.

Another parameter to look for is number of views per topic in pvp section of forum. Usually numbers are 2-5k for most viewed topics, saw one with 20k and one with 30k lately, and I think we can agree that pvp players are more active on forums than pve players. Also, we all witnessed decline of active players in our guilds and merge of some guilds due to lack of players.

These rough numbers can give us some insight why ZOS don't pay more attention to Cyro, but I also think it's very important to state that it's ZOS fault why we ended with so low numbers in PVP as it is today. Even if take optimistic number of 20k active pvp players that is still small number for AAA mmo title.

Some of the non game breaking PvE bugs that have been fixed quickly compared to the PvP stuff which is turning more people away every day in those threads is just crazy.

Cmon Zos just look at the the threads starting to pile up here in these forums regarding lag/broken mechanics/bugs etc......... fix this

I agree with OP except for the subject of population imbalance. ZOS can't help it that certain factions seems more popular than others.

The pop imbalance is probably on the lower end of the scale of my rant however IMO does contribute in a way to people leaving, being an oceanic subscriber I fully understand the fact that alot of the oceanic pop will reroll to whatever faction has the higher oceanic player base and it seems that AD is that faction.

I in no way blame the players for this as it's not fun getting steamrolled at lower pop. I just wish there was some way in which the population could be balanced during non prime time hours to help keep the small oceanic player base that we have here spread and even.

While saying this I can understand that zos will not change the game to suit the small player base we have, i'm just saying that IMO it is and has been a contributor to people leaving.

Pretty much every player who plays in Cyrodiil regularly has some legitimate complaints about the game's performance and mechanics. You would think someone with authority from ZOS would want to speak to the PVP community as a gesture of goodwill, if nothing else. They need to reassure players and take some ownership of their game and its issues.

Given how they refuse to do that, I can only imagine they want everyone to become desensitized to the massive lag and the other litany of broken items. They probably think they will break us and we'll shut up at some point, thus saving them the trouble of having to fix this mess.

Well, they're not wrong. They'll hear a lot less complaining if the unplayable lag etc continues...

Agreed, while there are a few people that post on the forum from time to time that have nothing but good things to say about ESO, they all seem to be PvE'ers and not anyone that has spent any time in Cyrodiil.

I've (for the most part) only had broken quests in Beta for PvE, pretty much has run smoothly.

If you've not spent time in Cyro you wouldn't have been one shotted by someone with silver bolts if you were a vamp, you wouldn't have seen Vamp DK's early on pretty much being indestructible, you wouldn't have seen many of the class imbalances you always seen in Cyro.

You wouldn't have complained about game performance, and things like low population bonuses would seem absurd, if you haven't played in Cyrodiil you'd probably have a much better opinion of the game methinks.
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

There would be A LOT more players in Cyrodiil if this game ran worth a fook. The artwork, story base, writing, and almost everything related physical wise is beautiful, but the PVP mechanics and server performance is a 1 out of 10, and is getting worse with every patch. for the most part the game is completely unplayable or your at the whim of the lag monster and people who know how to exploit it best. "Battle with your friends with hundreds of people on the same screen" LOL. *** please... :p

I an any moderate keep battle you can't tell visually or audio if your being hit and from where amongst not being able to move, like just now EP bum rushed Fare and the flags were like a slide show movie and the audio all hacked. It's pathetic.

I really hope this is not the case but sure is starting to feel like it, one just has to look at responses or lack there of from Zos in these forums regarding broken PvP mechanics and lag etc. You really start to become disheartened.
