Top 10 goofball raid mistakes in Cyrodiil

Seriously cant wait for the justice system so some of you can go solo somewhere else.

1. Using 5 meatbags as if the siege disease stacked.
2. The crown is solo scouting keeps
3. After a breach, the raid gathers up and stands in front of it for a countdown, giving the enemy oil potters on teamspeak the perfect one time oil drop mass killing.
4. Seeing an atronach drop. Seeing another atronach drop. having 3-4 atronachs drop by each sorc team mate
5. Looking on map and seeing a long line of chevrons moving to a location in groups of 1-3. Watching them get ganked one by one.
6. Watching half a raid chase a sorcerer while the other half dies at a siege waiting for reinforcements.
7. 24 man raid, 6 siege up, 12 people looking in backpack, 4 rambo's off doing their own thing
8. The guy in the raid who always thinks we said "go to nikel"
9. The 24+ man raid group that tackles resources for a living
10. The return to bounty players that leave without telling anyone, then shopping for pvp gear for 20 min.

Rylana charging out front to push, the entire raid goes the other way. (or seems to think I can solo tank about 10 seconds longer than I actually can before they finally back me up)

Runs towards Rayles just managing to stop before going right into the lava only to find half raid on auto run unable to stop wasn't deliberate I swear.

Any time someone purges on a flag these days...

Running into resource die then rest arrive...

When get on the flag is interpreted as "let me die on the flag by myself"

I once saw a ram being deployed at the inner of a keep and start rolling to the outer door, which had not yet either been breached. how do you steer those things any way?

Oh that sounds like the time my group was trying to sneak past Alessia while it was crawling with reds so we could flag/cap Sejanus. we went a little too wide around the east side and had to heal our way across the slaughter fish infested Niven river.

3.5. Running to the next enemy keep in line to be sieged and, instead of sieging immediately, or even taking resources, everyone stacks up on the front gates and shakes their swords angrily at the tower mages blasting them with impunity.

All the while, enemy players pick them off one by one from behind the protection of the NPCs, respawing and 1vXing at will since NO ONE IS EVEN TRYING TO FLAG THE BLOODY KEEP.

What is it about Alessia front gate that is so damn tempting?

• Breaching the inner keep and then running in alone instead of grouping up ready.
• Same as above, but with no-one using purge (pug groups mostly).
• Sieging main/inner doors with a ram while 10 oils are dropping from above (why do DC always do this? ALWAYS?!)

This morning we pushed fast. Captured three, or four keeps. Got a scroll but the runner had never done it before. Everyone was yelling orders at him, poor guy. I just told him to get over the river asap and we would hold the bridge behind him. So he vee- lined for the river. He tried swimming. A *** storm of fury ensued. The scroll ended up just out of reach, surrounded by slaughter fish.

What better time to check armour, weapons / skills load-out and food / potions? Who cares about all those silly red circles? Anyway, it is funny when they burst into flames / have an effect placed on them and start running about like headless chickens. I try and hold back from doing this until I am REALLY bored or the group has lost all cohesion and is attacking 6 random targets at once.

i was wondering what happened. i was so confused as to why our (AD) scroll was in the river. i figured maybe someone gave him rapids over the bridge lol

#372: Pick up one of your own scrolls from an enemy keep, while not having any speed buffs whatsoever and having no idea what path to take to bring the scroll home, then take it through the wrong gate because "someone whisped me that I could get to the other temple through here", finally give up, go out and to the right gate, coming within minutes of the scroll resetting.

(seen every one of these happen in my faction, though not at the same time)

HAHA yes all of those and
A. 45 people defend a Keep and 3 repair the walls
B. After the battle everyone spams heals till your head hurts but during the battle little to no heals
C. group stealthed about to make a move and pugs ride up on horse and yell out in-zone why are you guys stealthed by ***** for ??
D. No-one not even 1 scouting keeps atleast the home keeps for hours on end

E. attacking enemy Keep inner and outter both down and group still seiging other side or ramming door while most are inside on flags
F. enemies all around Nikel and over half the people inside stand on edge of wall not stealthed no shields no heals and frikin die over and over
G. and already listed but gotta do it again
[ charge to an enemy keep with nice numbers of warriors and dance around outside the keep back and forth until the enemy has plenty of time to not only put up seige but buy some and resort there inventory and all the while maybe one person or 2 if youre lucky puts up a seige to attack and then while they are being hammered no one heals them until everybody wipes .
Then everybody rides like crazy right back and does it again .
H. Newcomers Ask a question inzone how to do something and everyone gives false smart elic answers then when the newcomers screw up everyone wonders why
I. you and many others are fighitng to defend a hi prio Keep you go to turn in bounty and theres 25 people standing and people jumping and playing - your buddies tell you there is a QQ of 25 or more to get in
J. Stealthed watching many enemies ride by and some dude with a bow shoots at 1 of the 30 , they swarm and kill everyone
K . the whole faction arguing about who had the best guild and most emps on long forgotten old campaigns and why they hate each other and wont help each other ever , while enemies are taking over the map

I think that watching my DC brothers fighting 10 meters from a keep wall is the one that really frustrates me the most. I stand on a rock watching them slowly die and then get flanked. Its simply makes no sense yet it happens all the time.

For a while I liked to say that at a siege, you are either operating a siege engine, healing, or maybe guarding from gankers behind. If you are not doing one of these 3 things, you aren't helping the siege.

I was watching this behaviour yesterday, pondering with my guild whether those players are controlled by the old Command & Conquer AI (build one tank, drive to front, die in crossfire, repeat until getting wiped by players tank-rush)...
