To be honest, this is the exact reason I never invested, because I knew full well it couldnt have been intended that youd have a build making you so fast you could literally outrun a full speed specced light horse while stealthed.
Ever since the first time I saw it, I knew this was going in the garbage can, and honestly I cant say I feel for those that did invest into it, too much. I mean you didnt see this coming?
To be completely blunt, and this part is absolutely not directed at you, Dec, but the majority of the angry posts about balance/nerfs on this forum are from people that wantonly abuse the most imbalanced and powerful mechanics (ie streak/bats) and then somehow expect that isnt going to get shut down at some point. Same for ultimate redux builds, old school standard spam, the nerf coming for spell resist penetration light armor passive, etc.
It just blows my mind that so many people throw an absolute hissy fit that their latest I-win button is getting trashcanned, they never seem to realize its their abuse of it that caused it to become FOTM, known, reported, and therefore adjusted. perhaps if people didnt so liberally abuse every little advantage, especially the extreme ones we have seen in the recent past, things like this wouldnt happen as often as they do.
Perhaps it is time for the playerbase to stop trying to find the next super synergy, and focus on core skill building like is the norm in other games.

So sad that your chance to run away from a fight in PvP is now slightly lower. How dare they.

You've obviously never used the set before nor bothered to look it up. You don't get the speed buff while in combat. When you cloak in a fight, the only sneak bonus you can keep active is concealed weapon. So no, "[our] chances of running away" are not affected.
Either way, night's silence does not affect it at all while fighting or previously been in a fight.

I used that set, I know that set and I wrote "run away from combat" not "run out of combat" - I think that's a difference, and an important one.
I find it slightly amusing that vampire NBs make such a noise about not being able to move almost as fast as a running horse while sneaking.
Rylana- what makes you think you can outrun a full spec speed horse? Making stuff up doesn't help your point. I use the vamp+Nights Silence+concealed weapon and I can keep up with a standard horse ... when they sprint I can keep up except for when I need to recharge stamina (which they do not need to do). A speed horse will slowly gain ground on me/slowly get away from me. A speed horse sprinting will pretty quickly gain ground on me/get away. A fully leveled speed horse is a lost cause once it gets in front of me. You should really check your facts before chiming in a something you clearly don't know much about.
Thanks for nerfing the class skill of sorcs, as I do not play that class. But how dare you nerf MY class.
