Game Freezing For 3-5 Seconds Randomly

I've noticed since the latest patch that my game keeps freezing for 3-5 seconds. It happens no matter what I am doing in game. In combat it is especially bad, because 3-5 seconds a lot can happen. But it also happens when I'm browsing the guild store. I've tried changing my video settings around. I've tried changing the threads in the config text file from -1 to 0. I've tried increasing the priority of the ESO game process. I've tried closing the launcher. I disabled all my addons and it is still doing it. I do not know how to fix this issue, and do not even know if it can be fixed, I am stumped.

Please help if you have a suggestion, I'm all ears.

It is an memory leak which came back with last patch and for pc i guess.

Yes, I am using a PC. A very fast PC which should not encounter this type of issue given the hardware.

No one else is experiencing this issue since the latest patch? I'm really at my wit's end. The game is barely playable now for me, and it is really frustrating.

I do have this issue from time to time too. Its not power related because it can happen inside a public dungeon where Im alone and having 70fps the second before, or any other time.

Not sure why some say its related to the last patch, but this issue was present during beta. Might had been fixed at release until now, Idk, because I gave the game one month to polish. It happens a lot less than in beta to be fair.

Zenimax doesn't actually try to fix so many issues that have been around from a while ago, many of which have been around so long in Beta....that's why I feel like this is nothing more than a cash grab before they anticipate the failure of the game.

I also see it from time to time. Usually early in a gaming session; seldom after I have been playing 30min or so. Pretty lame, actually. Has been happening since beta. More for some than others, I usually only see one or two instances per session before things settle down.

I put this nasty bug a little lower in priority than the "Cannot Trigger Abilities In Combat" bug, or the "Stuck in Combat After Combat Ends" bug, or the ever popular "Stuck With Spear Of Light Out" Templar bug. Oh, and lets not forget the endlessly amusing and annoying "I Keep Falling Off My Horse" bug.

I have the same problem, my game freez every few minutes for 3-4 second. I didn't have this issue until this week. I tried every fix I could find on this forum, nothing helped. Need solution, Zenimax.

It's been around since beta, they have addressed it a few times and it has lessened but not gone. It happens when your CPU goes to 100% utilitazion for the duration, you can see it if you have your Task manager up at the time.

You can lessen it by dropping textures to med and closing the launcher directly after pressing play, set ESO.exe to high priority via task manager.

I am also experiencing this and it is game-breaking in pvp. Come back to fights and your dead. To me though this hasn't just been with a certain patch. I started experiencing this 2 weeks ago and it finally went away early this week, now it's back.
