wayshrines are put bad

i need a wayshrine close to crafting dealers and bank, but they are put in places i goto ride more then 1 minute each way

i don t like horses i don t like riding, it takes away my time in a useless ritual of riding

put wayshrines in the city with the bank next to the bank please, next to crafting, and next to 1 dealer

LOL, I also find this to be bad city planning. They should be right in the middle of town. :)

@OP: all I can say is that you've got a bloody slow horse, I suggest you turn it into horse meat and buy a new one, I can RUN from Wayshrine to any of those places in all towns I've been to in well under 1 min.

ok i want to be truely understandable

i pay this game to have fun

if i have to do repeatedly the same work that is no fun##

i expect you to pay me to do it

it is not fun to ride for 5 minutes 50 times the same distance, its work

pay me to do it, don t expect me to pay you

After nearly completing all five of the provinces in Ebonheart Pact, I noticed only one city had a nice tight layout for crafting/bank and shrine.

All the rest so far have been a trek and a half. It's a major time sink just travelling in this game. Including Cyrodiil.

Forget balance. I won't even go to Cyrodiil anymore because it's a waste of my time. The amount of work you get done out there, per time spent travelling, is worse than any game I've ever played.

Heavy, heavy travel time in ESO.

Really? Tonight I am going to time how long it takes to get from wayshrine to crafting stations in each city. LMAO.

To me this sounds lazy and silly. Complaining about a potential 1 minute ride is almost as bad as talking about practice.

i do that lazy 1+ minute ride (2way its allways) about 30-100 times a day, im wasting 1 hour to 3 hours a day just traveling between wayshrine and craftinghall, and yes i play about 15 hours a daybut its still an enourmouese percentage of time wasted, not fun ,just wasted, because of bad design,

and you will have the same percentage of your time wasted
  • virreab16_ESO
I think they did this to prevent large amount of players standing in one city around the wayshrine, cause thats whats happening.

So, no large grouping in one place.

This... shouldn't be an issue. I hate wayshrines, make us travel by foot/horse EVERYWHERE... i'd be happy.

    Holy Jebuz!!!!

Dude, is that even healthy for you to play this much there are only 24 hours in a day?

And we are only talking 60 seconds I think that is very acceptable if anything. I don't think that it is outrageous tbh.

    A whole minute? That's rough. ^^

Sarcasm aside, I'll admit the Wayshrines are not as conveniently placed as they could be. But I don't see this as a big deal. At least it isn't for me. But I wouldn't be against putting them inside the towns instead of outside them.

while the landscape in the elder scrolls online is propably more beautifull then in any other game

and i do stand on cliffs and just look around for a minute or 5

wasting time just riding through the same old landscâpe

    isn t fun to me

maybe a vote, who likes seeing the same landscape 1 time ?
who likes seeing the same landscape 100 times ???

Sitting in a chair for those long periods of time is not right. Bro... I know its not my place to care about someones health on the internets but dude, I can imagine that your kind of playstyle is only going to end up having ramifications in the long run.

Move to a new city for crafting and never go back.

Davons watch is the worst city because the bank is too far.

Riften is pretty good but wayshrine could be a bulit closer.

Shornhelm is my favorite home spot. WW table, clothing, bank in a nice corner by the wayshrine. Grocer and cooking in the fighter's guild across the street.

    I go back daily. :)

This seems lazy, there is already too much baby proofing of games these days. Everything doesnt need to be child proof, easy, safe and happy with sparkles and sunshine. It should require work and effort.

60 seconds of safe travel shouldn't ever be defined as work as well.

I prefer wayshrines out of the way. You see more players running throughout the city instead of just clumped in a singular spot.

I've never been able to figure out why the devs would want people to spend there time riding/running back and forth across a city 100 times a day. I mean they obviously did this intentionally but I just don't get how it makes the game better.

if you need more then 5% of your game time riding betwen wayshrine and crafting/banking...

i think something is wrong in the game design,
not trolling, trying to improve gaming for everyone

Yeah in your situation playing 15 hours a day I can completely understand why it may get annoying and redundant.

To me and how much I play per day it really doesn't seem like a big deal since I don't do it as much daily as you. So I can completely understand..

Anything that you have to do constantly over and over again over that kind of time period daily can easily be annoying.
