Skill line not leveling properly

For the past few days my assassination skill line has not leveled properly. I have been leveling up to the same level multiple times. Currently my skill line is at 28, but has reached 29 multiple times. At some points I am actually loosing xp. I have 2 screenshots to show. One is before I turn in a quest, and another is after. You can see that after I turn in the quest my skill line does not gain any xp. I have 3 skill from this tree slotted when I turned it in. As proof I didn't just take 2 screen shots you can see my characters level xp changes. You can also see that my siphoning just leveled up.

    Here is more look at the time stamps from my tool bar add on near the top left corner of the screen.

    You can see I was already at 29, and as I am playing you can see me level up yo 29

    Hi, @manny254! This is a known issue that we will have fixed in a future patch. Luckily, it is a User Interface issue, only. On the back-end, everything with your abilities is as it should be. We understand that it's confusing and frustrating, and we do apologize for that. We've posted a longer explanation of the issue here.

    I appreciate the response, and I am happy that my play time is not being completely uncounted. In the meantime what am I supposed to do on the character I am currently playing. I do not have access to almost half the skill and passives in one of my class skill lines. At that the skill line that is tailored best to my play style.

    So are you saying here that all the skill line experience that people are constantly losing, and regaining, and then losing again and again will all be magically restored and " fixed in a future patch" for which you are unable to provide a timeframe ?
    And why has there been no update about this issue in the main thread covering it ?

    Hello Jessica,

    It's just sad that with all the evidence given on the above mentioned topic proves otherwise, ZoS insists on describing the problem as a UI issue.
