Hi, i have a Problem when i Play in cyrodiil my eso client keeps growing over the time in memory usage and when it reach 3,6 gbyte it crash every time usually after 70-90 minutes in cyrodiil so my question is is there a new memory leak in this game? or it is still a old one havent played a few weeks only the last 6-7 days before it was fine.

You are right, me and my friends also noticed this yesterday while playing in Cyrodil, there definetly is memory leak AGAIN, there were like 5 of us after around an hour we would get client crash because of memory leak...

I reported the "new" memory leaks back in July after the update. I don't PVP so I can't say if that one has been around since then. I sent a ton of info showing the leaks in game as well as the launcher. I keep my task manager open so I can see when it happens and log out before I crash. The leak will cause my game to use an additional 1GB of memory in 30 seconds. Make sure to close your launcher as soon as you are in game since it will eat memory until you do. As for the game, not sure why they are not addressing the leaks but they are still happening. :(

Yep, I can't even do any pvp right now because of this. The crashing is just not worth it. My computer is more than capable of handling this game on High settings, but the client is eating over 3 gb of ram which is leading to the crash. In Cyrodiil it happens really fast.

I get the same thing, freezes up and crashes. Sometimes it takes a few hours, sometimes it takes a few minutes. It's getting to the point where it's not worth to play the game or pay for the sub anymore.

Definitely a memory leak going on in cyrodil. I play ESO with Activity Monitor running alongside so I can watch the memory usage. The Mac client crashes at around 3.9GB of virtual memory. I have yet to see the actual memory used get that high. I don't think the launcher has much to do with the issue, unless you only have 4GB of Ram.

I'm experiencing this issue, either. I hope there's a fix coming so all can enjoy crash free pvp again.

No real problem with the launcher here. I opened it this morning before Left. It was pulling 85.4MB RAM. Three hours later it is just up to 104.6MB.

Same here, doesn't happen all the time but when it does memory goes quick and if i don't pay attention to it, the game will crash ...

I'm wondering if this memory leak that some of you are experiencing is related to the known Microsoft Windows 8.1 bug that causes memory issues in some systems:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-gaming/windows-81-x64-low-memory-while-playing-full/e4602805-a1e1-4704-b006-92f43247b9e8?page=1&tm=1393886867223

I have a AMD computer system at home running Windows 7 and it runs just fine with no memory leaks as far as I can tell. I haven't run Process Explorer or any other diagnostics to verify this, but I haven't had any crashes or system error messages indicating a memory problem. However, both myself and my wife has a Windows 8.1 gaming laptop and we get the memory leak problem and system error messages all the time.

Some of the memory leak problems may well be related to the client, but then again, we also have Microsoft to thank for some of the issues.

It's not the launcher that is causing the problem. I keep that closed while I play, anyway. It's an issue with the game client itself.

This may be the case, potentially, but I'm just on regular Windows 8, not 8.1, and still having the problem. And if the issue is related to any versions of Windows 8, then what options does that leave those of us who have no way to roll back to an earlier version of Windows? I never had this problem before the most recent patch. I already run the game in XP compatibility mode because before I started doing that the game would freeze randomly.

Also, it may be notable that my game isn't crashing because my system is low on memory, I have 12 gb and even when the game crashes there's still plenty of system RAM to spare. The problem is that ESO is a 32-bit client and once the memory leaks out so much that it hits its 3.7 gb cap, it crashes, regardless of how much free RAM is still left on the system.

I love this game but if I can't play longer than 1 hour without crashing due to memory leaks, I'll have to unsub.

Nope. Windows 7 64bit here, you won't find any of the Win8 crap in my house ...

PS: For me, this just started with the latest 1.3 update, i had no issues at all before that.
