Reposting here from the Customer Support forum in case anyone here knows:
Trying to complete the quest Hircine's Gift but getting a bug right in the beginning that's preventing completion of the quest. Supposed to be transformed into a werewolf once Hircine grants you his power but this is not occurring. Able to howl though for the other werewolves to come and feed on the target once it is defeated but unable to feed. Unlike the Howl there is no Feed prompt that pops up.
Anyone here ever run into this bug and were you able to fix it? Tried relogging and waiting for a while, dropping and reacquiring the quest, /kneeling at the altar, the whole /reloadui thing but none of it seems to work. Still not turning into a werewolf after the ritual is complete. Red glow occurs around the character but remains unchanged.

KenjiJU✭✭✭Had to relog a few times and go in and out of the portal once. Turned into werewolf about half the time. If you do get it, make sure you search the whole area for the 'beast' as it may not be the same thing/location as before.

Branbran✭✭Thanks, I guess I'll try relogging until it turns me into a werewolf.
Alright, tried logging out about 10 times. Also tried exiting and entering the portal a couple of times. Still no werewolf transformation. Plus all the times I tried relogging and reentering the portal yesterday I don't think this will fix my issue. Must be something else that's blocking the transformation. I should have at least got one transformation by now.

Anzaman✭✭✭For some reason Hircine's Hunting Grounds has been quite bugged lately. Sometime ago I tried to complete the Quest myself as well and ended up being unable to use light or heavy attacks within the form.

But since mine only blocked from using attacks, I was still able to complete it after 5 minutes of fighting against the Mammoth only using Pounce -ability. Guess the bug has either "evolved" into preventing transformation completely or it's new one.![:\](https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/resources/emoji/confused.png ":\")

Branbran✭✭I do remember reading your post when I was initially looking for a fix to the problem. I couldn't find a thread that was similar to the issue I was having. And this does seem to be a pretty rare bug, especially I think because there currently isn't that many people who go for werewolf instead of a vampire.
It feels similar to another bugged quest I had in the Aldmeri Dominion which depending on where you talked to the quest giver it would bug out and not spawn the quest target. I forget the name of the quest but it involved a portal and it was located in the northern part of Greenshade. Once the servers comes back up I'll probably try looking for the quest giver in another location.
