Motif farming FIX= Deconstruct chance for motif instead
I can't take credit for the idea as someone else (
@Kalman ) came up with the idea. Just reposting the suggestion in a separate thread.
Of course they would need to make it a very low chance of success just due to the volume of gear you deconstruct. Any gear that is DECON success for a MOTIF from that style of item is automatically BOUND to you.
ZOS - Keep "STEALTH NERF" from 1.0.6 (We know it happened, just update the patch notes please). Lockpick count tripled after that patch.
Why is this a WIN / WIN Solution?
- Less automation and more work - Can't script a BOT to run around
- Those PLAYING the game get the chance of a motif via crafting
- People that "Need" motifs are the people doing Decon's anyways
- Chance to learn grows the more gear you decon while leveling toon and craft at the same time (As intended)
- This works for ALL of the Motifs and based on gear drops from each progressive zone gives you a chance to learn that motif.
- If someone makes a BUNCH of items for a "Buddy" to learn then you are pulling those mats out of the economy AND encourages sharing
- Bound MOTIF's can't muck up the economy with crazy prices
- ANYONE can learn the motif's and it's no longer limited to farming furniture and as rare as they just became in one patch
- Gold Sellers have one less item to sell for REAL MONEY now (Pretty funny they now offer selling those in Gold Spammer Emails)
