I actually somewhat enjoy this game, but it has a LOT of faults with it. So many it's to the point where this should still be in beta. Perhaps they should have done that year long beta test as an OPEN beta and not closed. A lot these issues probably would have been brought to light and addressed prior to launch.

Well the Modzis are in full force tonight so I'm not sure if this post will last.

Most of the AJ video is spot on. The PvE content is tolerable until you get to veteran ranks. After level 50, you really see the game's major flaws. You'd have to be insane or unemployed to want to level more than one or two characters with this grind.

PvP is the only saving grace this game has at the moment but it still needs work.

Way to much foul language in the video. I just cant take people for full if they use "*** - ***" in every sentence.

That guy complains about collectors edition, well my friend surprise... every MMO has them! Even non MMO´s do, see D3.

I believe he didn't play any other MMO´s yet, that's why he is so "surprised" by what MMO´s have to offer.

As an experienced MMO player I can say this game is a lot better than most MMO´s right now. DAOC and Ultima are still on top, but I doubt any MMO will ever beat them.

The DAOC RvR is just perfect if you like pvp, while Ultima had the best and most amazing gameplay / story / social systems up to date. TESO is currently where wow was at Vanilla & TBC before they destroyed the game with WOTLK.

While I miss a housing system and am a bit angry that it does not have priority for them (ESO without housing???), its still a great game with many months of gameplay. Its almost a month now and I am still level 12!

I been wachting Angry joe alot, but not so much of late, he seem to make alot of mistakes, like in this vidoe not knowing the explore pack was a pre-ordre bonus and had nothing to do with what version of game you got.

For me it seem he starting to do what gives him the most followers and not what is right.

So if it is hyperbole and it is not "9/10" (for exapmle, say... 2/10)
then that makes invalid your whole point about "game is dead". There are still 80% players.

Yes indeed there are some very good points in the video of some things that could be better in the game.

The grouping and questing in PvE definitely needs some work. It is funny that in some rare quests you actually do complete objectives together but in most of them everyone completes on their own.

Re-doing quest would be so good also to help your friend or partner to complete something. Though there potentially could be some issues here. It would basically need prompt saying you have done this already do you want to do it again.

Farming bots and crowded public dungeons in the beginning was bit annoying. Hopefully they get rid of the bots eventually. But now that game has had some more time into it and people are more spread out the pubs are not that crowded as they were in the beginning when everyone was pretty much on the same stage of the game.

Loving the game and can't wait what improvements they make over the time.

Disagree with most of the first half, but he's absolutely right about immersion breaking BS in public dungeons, bunny-hopping goons ruining combat and poor rewards vs. risk, etc.

After several weeks, I have to say it's the first MMO that's made me wish it wasn't one. Never has an online game made me resent the presence of other players for a majority of content.

I like AJ and have watched the vid and would pretty much agree with it all. If anything I would be even more critical.

The problem is that you are going to get a lot of comments now from people who won't even watch it and will take any kind of negativity as being some sort of personal attack.

"Even"? You're funny. It makes a lot more sense to offer Collector stuff and things that get you ahead in a single player rather than in an MMO, becuase no one cares what you do with a game. Unfortunately things will not end well for ESO, the combat weapon swapping and the overly featureless console UI (like a mutant child of TERA and GW2)... is just annoy the hell out of me and my friends. I """want""" to like this game, but this is the "buggiest MMO" launch in a number of years and 2014 will not accept poor management . combat isn't tactical nor are class builds deep either (TSW has that crown). Spells that don't hit or trigger, having to enter chat then escape just to get combat controls working again, really. horrible 5 button UI built around a poor weapon swapping system, thank god for Naga. I thought I could get past this action console control scheme, but I can't, it is poor, and I would pay for a real live standard MMO UI and control system. There is no game tool kit Beth, so mod builders will not save this game from poor or middle finger design choices, like it does in TES single players.

I don't have issues with fighting other players off my stuff, public dungeon bosses, yeah, but that's not really the games fault. Honestly I enjoy PvE, quite a bit. I don't get half the problems most people complain about. But I think the end is pretty accurate, this is not the BEST they could do, but it's certainly not bad, and I'm willing to stay and wait for them to realize how they could make it better. This IS a game that SHOULD only be for the most hardcore Elder Scrolls fans. This is an MMO, it's not going to have the same level of immersion as a single player game, but I don't see how it could, so I'm fine with it. Considering the obstacles they've had to face, I'm really pleased with the outcome. Yeah it's not what everyone was expecting but let's be honest, is what we were expecting even all that possible?

I think this game is a 8/10 but i agree with Angry Joe on all his points. The reason i dont listen to Joe's videos is because it just makes you not want to play the games he reviews because he has so little positive feedback and when he does say something nice its very little emphasis.

Well I have a Vet level 2 character and a Vet level 1 character, so I clearly love this game but I have to concede he makes some good points.

However: Imagine a world where they developers take these points, reverse them and find solutions and give us a polished and functioning, precise and wonderful MMO?

It excites me to speculate on the possibilities. That is why I am staying.
