Unable to refine raw materials, or even see them in the crafting screen

noticed this about an hour ago, and submitted a bug report, but i can't refine any of my raw materials or even see them in the crafting screen.

for clarification:

40 clothing, all material masteries.
37 blacksmithing, 8/9 masteries.
37 woodworking, 8/9 masteries.

i have double and triple-checked my inventory, and i definitely have the raw materials, but cannot see them in the refinement tab. tried reloading the UI, relogging, shutting down the game, everything.

    I am having the exact same problem. Were you able to get a response from anyone or find a fix? I submitted a bug report and filed for help in-game.

    no, no response in-game. still not able to refine/see raw materials in the crafting window.

    well, i got a response in my e-mail, feels like an automated response, but w/e. responding to it gave me a "I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients" return to sender response form google.

    I have had the same problem in my accounts for two days now. Even when i don't have sufficient amounts of raw material it does not even appear in red.

    Same problem. I've done everything on my end that I can think of to resolve, so it's up to the GM's now. I've put in 5 tickets about a different issue (enchanting chests are disappearing without giving me any items) and haven't heard anything back on it in two weeks, I am not holding my breath on a quick resolution.

    I'm not criticizing Zeni here. They are swamped with tickets right now.

    While typing this, I got an email saying that my ticket has been escalated. So, if you have this issue, report it and give Zeni more incentive to fix it and more information they can use to troubleshoot.

    would be nice if we could get some sort of statement about this. is this intentional due to the investigation into the guild bank duping bug, or what?

    well, finally got a GM response, but wasn't what i expected. instead of fixing the issue, they completely misunderstood, and gave me 55k gold to "compensate for lost items and bankspace."

    while i appreciate the gold, i don't need it. please help me fix my crafting so i can refine raw materials. i am NOT missing items, skillpoints, or bank space. i AM missing the ability to refine raw crafting materials! this crap's going into it's third day now, @ZOS_GinaBruno

    I tried responding to the automated email that was sent in reply and got the message saying it wasn't delivered, even though the automated email says to reply if my problem is still not solved...which it isn't. Reference # 140422-025263

    This is the third day this problem has persisted.

    just a bump. getting frustrated that this has taken 3 days so far, and the only real GM/CS action has been to give my character 55k gold. (which i would gladly give up to get this issue resolved.) as someone who takes great pride in making and using my own gear, i have very little incentive to keep playing with the crafting system in this state.

    if i don't get any real ZOS interaction within the next day, i'm just going to call up the support hotline and demand to talk to someone that can help me.

    ZOS, your customer support system is bad, and you should feel bad.

    I agree. I just don't feel right playing without being able to craft. its getting very annoying. I don't want to advance any of my characters until i can craft items for them.

    I have just found that logging in through different computer shows the crafting mats like they should be and lets me refine them. I'm not entirely sure why it works on one computer but not the other but it does. I'm wondering if it has something to do with a mod or something. So now whenever I want to craft I have to log out on my gaming pc and log in on my wimpy laptop =( but at least its a work around until they fix this... IF they ever fix it.

    just deactivate all the mods then, if that works and ur materials shows up then its a mod. then start by activating the mods 1 by 1 until u find ur culprit.

    I have deactivated all mods and it still didn't let me see the mats. I might try doing a repair.

    it just occurred to me... i'm still using the beta client (updated through patcher, ofc.) perhaps installing the retail version might help.

    In the middle pane of the launcher just above and to the right of the recent news pane click on the gear icon and select repair. If you don't see the repair option you're probably looking too far up and right. NOT where the close program x is

    Confirmed - repairing the client fixed the problem for me.
