Bthanual dwarven spider respawn times

I don't see any spiders, just a bunch of destroyed dwarven spiders. Some people have been here for a while with no progress in the quest.

Quest is "The Dungeon Delvers" in Deshaan.

Quest Broken?

In The Dungeon Delvers, at the start the Quest giver gave me a "Control Rod" and told me to enter Bthanual, a nearby Dwemer ruin.

To clarify @Firellight‌ 's comment, the dungeon is populated by Dwemer spider-constructs, not spiders.

I was able to complete the first two tasks in The Dungeon Delvers. However a possible Quest breaker occurred in the objective Adjust the Prisms.

This task requires you to locate a prism or prisms, then find the activation point (E) to Adjust the Prism. I was only able to get the E to appear twice in a lengthy session for this task. The first time, the E disappeared before I could activate it.

The second time the E appeared, activating the control did not adjust the prism. Nothing happened, then the activation prompt disappeared again. I was not able to get that prompt again -- on this or any other prism -- no matter how I oriented by character.

{Spoiler?}:

A note nearby the prisms mentioned additional "captured" Spider-constructs were needed. In the process of trying to capture one or more spider-constructs I was killed several times. I always revived at the nearest Wayshrine, still in the Bthanual Ruins.

After one of the resurrections I discovered that my previously captured spider-constructs had disappeared. I also no longer had the essential Control Rod to capture a defeated spider-construct.

I continued to play, but since I could not control a defeated spider construct, completing the Quest became impossible. I exited the Ruin and went back to the Quest giver: No control rod given.

Returning to the Bthanual Ruins, even when I could defeat spider constructs, I could not control them or obtain an activation prompt for the Prism(s).

E-mail support ticket submitted because I thought the issue was my coordination trying to find a Prism activation point.

This seems a Quest Breaker. ZOS Admin, please add The Dungeon Delvers to the Known Issues v1.2.3 list.
