Stuck in God of Schemes quest

After sacrificing one of the companions and performing the ritual, the next section drives the character to wander through some areas while you're mostly invulnerable.
Upon reaching a section with a couple dragons and a few more seductresses, there is a chasm with nowhere to go.
What is supposed to happen here?
I can't port out so I'm basically stuck.
EDIT: As it turned out, the only way I was able to get out was through the AvA Campaign menu. Thank god for that.
