Missing Helm

So I had a Heavy Armor class helm that was a quest reward in Grahtwood, dunno the exact name, but it looked like a cat's head. Now it's gone.

I had it equipped, so I couldn't have disassembled it or sold it, but I checked buy back to be sure, and it's not in my bank. Why is it gone, and can I get it back?

And it is not equipped now? You may have the option to hide equipped helm checked. Look at your paper doll, see if it shows there

Hehe, I'm a troubleshooter for a living, I checked there before I checked anywhere else, no such luck. Says I have nothing equipped at all. That's what I mean, it's just gone.

Have you been disassembling armor at the blacksmith table while wearing the helmet?
There is a bug going around with disassembling armor, which has a chance to automatically disassemble your equipped helm. Which might be the reason why your helm is gone.

If this is the case, then i'm afraid you lost your helm for good.

Yea BS and WW are my top crafting profs (aside from provisioning but that's hella easy). Well balls, that blows. Never had that happen before, been in game for a week.

Happened to me yesterday -- hit R to deconstruct with no item slotted resulted in it eating my helmet. I knew what happened immediately. At least it wasn't something special. I just made another.

Crap, think that's what happened, I went to refine ore into bars with nothing selected and something happened... Balls

I had this happen to me last night. But for me, it happened with the very first blue drop I got - an awesome caster Hood from Soulfire Plateau...

I have the same problem, I lost 2 Cowl of the Warlock. First one I thought I was stupid and broke it, but the second one, for which I payed quite a lot, I'm sure I haven't broken it. Is there any way to recover one of them?
