Bank Upgrades and Items Have Disappeared... for a SECOND TIME!

I have previous put in a support ticket about my bank - which had multiple upgrades - having the upgrades disappear. ALL items disappeared as well, only to have SOME of them return a short time later but NO bank upgrades re-appeared. So, I had 90 slots... pretty much all full... now I have 60. So 30 items POOF... gone.

I received an amusing email about the items:

"Our soothsayers have determined that the minions of Molag Bal have unjustly relieved you of some of your hard-won possessions.
The mages in charge of our wards of protection are deeply sorry for this oversight. They wish to assure you that they have identified each and every adventurer who lost items, as well as each and every item that was lost.
This state of affairs will not stand! Our mages are busily summoning the missing items back from Molag Bal’s vaults in Coldharbor. As quickly as they can retrieve them, we will dispatch our trusted and honorable Gamemasters to return your goods to you.
Keep an eye on your in-game mailbox, as your items shall be returned to you as soon as they become available."

I thought... ok... I'll wait. Still NOTHING.

Then, last night... it happened again!!!!!!! I had bought 2 upgrades to the bank (RE-BOUGHT!) and then when logged between characters, the SAME THING HAPPENED. Bank upgrades are GONE. Items that were in the extra slots... GONE.

Apparently, the mages in charge of the wards need to be hanged for treason... OR... the Thieves Guild is making a comeback, because this is a repeating problem that has not been solved.

I can't play.... PERIOD. As soon as I run out of backpack space... that's it... I'm done. I can't put anything in the bank... for fear it will disappear. I can't create any mules... because to get them the stuff, it has to go through the... you guessed it... THE BANK.

This game is worthless to me at the moment. The MOST I can do is create new characters and have them run around the starter island collecting things until their bags get full - at which time, they become useless too.

AGAIN... TO REPEAT... THE BANK ISSUE HAS HAPPENED TWICE. MANY ITEMS ARE MISSING! ALL OF MY BANK UPGRADES ARE MISSING... I AM OUT THE ITEMS AND THE GOLD FOR 5 UPGRADES!

Please address this immediately!

    Am I the only one who's not amused with the way they respond to issues? It gives the impression they aren't taking thing seriously.

    I think they are overwhelmed of things to fix but pretty sure those banks issues are on top of the priorities(bigger thread here), probably why we don't see fix on smaller issues like some quests bugged since early access day1

    I have now lost my bank for the THIRD time. Losing the bank is not as big of a deal to me as the upgrades and the GOLD stored in there. You get a half-assed reply and then nothing.

    Yes, it's serious, I agree. Still, it might be the better part of wisdom to just let the bank upgrades wait until they've said the issue is fixed. Buying in again is just going to make it harder to fix in the end.

    I've stopped playing already. Happened to me earlier today, I dealt with it for a while but the inventory micro management is absolutely killing the fun for me, so I logged out. Can't be bothered to log back in until this is dealt with.

    Hopefully for ZOS's sake they fix this before I lose interest in the game completely.

    Second time for me today (first was two days ago).

    This is infuriating. Got my first email contact, and now nothing.

    Down 8600 gold and several stacks of items (some went to one of my alt's inventories, others vanished).

    Just happened to me - lost all my bank upgrade slots and some items (not precisely sure which ones yet, but pretty sure I had over 60 items in the bank).

    This is just not acceptable, if there's no resolution that's the end for me. I don't deal with item loss no matter what the game is.

    i just lost everything bank all equipment inventory items all of it i cant even see items to buy from vendors it just show up as a red question mark i submitted ticket got the same molag bal bs responce been on hold with support for over an hour and a half so far on this issue ive since uninstalled game and any addons i had and reinstalled game to start from scratch no luck this is bs all my ce treasure maps all my blue equipment in my lvl 32 charecter everything gone. game is broken completely useless cant loot cant craft cant do anything since everything shows up as a red ? instead of an item

    This has happened once for me and I will hold off on putting any more money into the bank upgrade after reading this thread. No response to my ticket other than the 'we are aware of this problem'. This tied with a number of quest halting bugs (my OCD is in overdrive) has really taken the shine of this game.

    Wow this is pretty sad indeed. I believe this issue has been known PRIOR to 2 Maintenance fixes; bah!!!!

    Very first day of my 5 day access I received 4 emails about Pre Order stuff.

    Days later I noticed all my bank items were gone, my increased stash is gone and I received 4 new emails about Pre Ordered Items.

    I submitted a ticket and NOTHING; havent had a follow up

    I ran a 'repair checker' on client and got all my bank items back except the bank upgrades. Thankfully it only had 70 but still!!! So I spent 1,000 gold on upgrading it

    Today logging from Character to Character to transfer items it happened again; 4 new emails...Pre Order Items as well as bank cleared and 0/60.

    I'm gonna run a repair tool on client to hopefully get back my 50+ stacked items and maybe I"ll spend another 1,000 on upgrading to 70 but I want my 2k gold back! Sure its not as much as 80k or 80k + 100 items or even more but still.

    This has got to be fixed and soon!!! Please!

    Just had this happen to me. Just lost everything and got the CE emails again in game with all the items. Does the repair really get the stuff back? I would think this is a server issue not the client?

    Same just happened to me...for the second time.

    Need a fix quick for this ...as far as Im concerned this is game breaking on the crafting system.

    I've been really paranoid over this and have been keeping my bank at 60 items even though I have 90 slots. May I ask, Did you skip coldharbour at anytime?

    I had actually just made an character and had just skipped coldharbour and was taking some stuff for them out of the bank. I then logged back into my main and poof stuff was gone and emails came back. I had done the exact same thing last night with no issue though.

    Yes I have asked many people and all the same story. It seems to be cause when people skip coldharbour. I have never skipped it and made 8 characters but its not happened to me. I'm just wondering if that's the cause of the issue.

    This happened to me again, but about 10 days from first occurrence. All my alts were made during the 5-days of early access, so I doubt this is related to skipping Coldharbor (though I did with some of my alts.)

    The bug happened to me today while zoning into Entila's Folly with my alt. The load screen was particularly long, but when it finished.. POOF... I received my in-gamed starter pack emails....

    I immediately recognized the sign. When I logged into an alt, which I keep near the bank, sure enough, my bank had been reset from 80 to 60 slots. (Fortunately, 59 of my bank items were still intact, but I think I lost some other items taking up the other 20 slots.)

    Strangely, I keep getting notifications that I have joined all 5 of my guilds... ever since the 2nd bug recurrence. Weird.

    Well all I can suggest for the time being is you do as I do and just keep your bank below 60 and dont store anything very expensive in there. Make mule characters to store stuff.

    I've never skipped Coldharbour but I got hit with it a few days ago, filed a ticket and no response at all lost 2 bank upgrades but luckily no items as my alt had inventory room for the overflow.

    It happened to me just now. So the message is don't spend money to upgrade your bank as there is a high chance you'll lose your upgrades.

    Same exact thing and I lost 10 nice weapons and armor I was keeping for my alts. Then I get 2 full explorers packs and one of my alts sees 0/60 bank slots. All my others see 59/60. Hate losing 10 items too.

    My bank reset twice also.. one of my characters does not have access to the guild store. where do the items go when a full 100 slot bank resets to 60?

    well cant see how we will see whats gone and the servers are still up..But who knows this company is surprising me every day I sit here instead of in game

    The items end up on the very next person you log in with.

    If that person can't hold the excess items...then the items are just gone.

    Also all gold you might've had in the bank is totally gone. No chance of recovering that.
