NEED a game master to assist me with bugged main quest.

During the quest, 'Worm castle' I disconnected after I had rescued Abnur. The problem is that it was during Lyris punching Abnur in the face, so the quest says, 'observe the scene.' When I reconnected the quest still says 'observe the scene.'

Nothing is being played out in the Harborage, Abnur won't speak to me and the others just give one line responses.

I've been stuck on this quest for 4 days now. I've gotten responses but none of them will work. I need someone to either reset the quest for me, or advance the quest.

It's not an issue of being stuck in the harborage, or logging out then in, or abandoning (because you can't abandon main quests). I wouldnt care but this is the main quest. I need someone to assist me in this matter.

I'm sorry to make the following in capital letters, but 8 tickets later you guys are still not understanding.

YOU CANNOT ABANDON THE MAIN QUEST.

I HAVE LOGGED OUT FOR MULTIPLE HOURS AT A TIME TO TRY AND RESET IT.

IT'S THE MAIN MAIN MAIN MAIN QUEST OF THE GAME. I CAN LEAVE IT, BUT YOU GUYS WILL STILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP ME WITH MY SPECIFIC PROBLEM.

I NEED SOMEONE TO ACTUALLY SPEAK TO ME AND ASSIST ME.

I thank you for your form letter responses to me. It's like applying to 1000's of jobs and getting the same e-mail in return.

I've got a very similar problem in Harborage, for me it's the epilogue quest "God of Schemes". They have to do a scene before I can talk to them which they did, but when I was talking to the NPC to complete the quest I had a disconnect. Now I'm stuck watching 2 survivors panting and not doing their scene required for me to finish.

Stuck for 3 days with the same unhelpful E-mail responses reporting in.

It's a known bugged quest for all players: https://code.google.com/p/esobugtracker/issues/detail?id=2

They're working on it. Unfortunately, you have to wait for a patch to fix the root of the problem.

Yup... if its a "known bug", it means "we dont care, good luck with our patches".

    Good stuff.

@Vlas, it fairness it means they have it logged and (presumably) either plan to or are working on it.

There is an inherent flaw with this.
A GM working on the issue would be able to see what is causing the problem helping to actually fix the bug.
A GM would keep customer service happiness high.
There is no information from ZOS, so we have no clue which issues are being looked in to.
If they do happen to apply a patch soon, what if not all of the issues were resolved, will they put a GM on it then or will they continue to make people wait another two weeks?

So, you will understand if I dont feel exactly enthusiastic about support and fixes by this company.

They do have some information - for example the major issue tracker stickied in this forum, posted by ZOS, which tracks broken quests (inc this one).

However, you know how I feel on this one. The level of info is pretty bad, the communication is bad, support tickets are taking way too long, and yes - when the next patch roles, I'm sure there will be still be broken quests.
